22 oz bomber to a Duvel tulip. Pours a very cloudy reddish brown with a huge off white head that hangs around and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, toffee, pine resin, floral citric hops, and pepper. Taste is bitter up front. Pine, grapefruit, lemon zest, and orange peel. There is a somewhat bready, caramel malt that comes in with hints of toffee and more bitter pine at the end. Mouthfeel is somewhat chewy and alcohol is not super present. Pretty good beer.

Oh my gosh such a strong rye aroma. Pours with a hazy white head and a nice red body, slightly opaque. Very light body. Really spicy flavor from the rye, a bit of pine hops, and a light bitterness. Delicious.

Mousse beige abondante. Robe cuivrée légèrement opaque. Amertume modérée, goût matlée et légèrement caramélisé. Superbement balancé, on ne se rend pas compte du taux d’alcool à la dégustation.

Big malty taste here that goes underappreciated in modern hop worship world of beer. This is complex in raw barley. I get the sense of organic hipster heirloom barley strains at play. Or at least I sense good barley. Light citrus aroma and some booze. Caramelized malt. Tangy bitter finish. Tap at sovereign savor event.
