COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summer Pale Ale is our version of the iconic West Coast-style Pale Ale. Our brewer’s decided this beer should be all about the hops. Therefore, we brew it without any crystal malt. In choosing to brew a beer this way, we are left to focus solely on the expressive nature of the hops they choose for this beer.

Bomber purchased at the BevMo in Escondido ($4.29). Bottle is marked as 6.0% though the RateBeer description currently reads 5.2%. Pours a slightly hazed golden amber hue with two full fingers of creamy white foam and lots of big bubbles sticking to the side of the glass. AROMA of tropical fruit, significant dank hops, berries, floral and grassy hops, and light airy pine. FLAVOR of lightly sweet citrus, spicy hops, honey malts, and sweet tropical fruit. Quite well-balanced with a moderate spicy bitterness and slight sweetness. A nice hop-forward APA...an excellent beer to enjoy on the last day of summer. (135, 911)

Warner Robins, Ga. - Lazy Dog Growler - 22 oz bomber. Pours a hazy medium orange with a fluffy snow white head that leaves plenty of sticky lacing. Aroma has some nice piney accents, some light pear accents. Flavor is solid with some light citrus bitterness, a touch of pear fruitiness, some yeasty notes in the back end. Mouthfeel is nice ans smooth. Pretty decent.

Murky orange-copper color with a big white head. Aroma is malty, earthy with a hint of orange. Taste is sweet fruit, earthy, pine and a bit of citrus hops, with a citrus aftertaste. Very well balanced, though a little light-bodied for my tastes. Overall, a very good beer.
