Summer Pale Ale is our version of the iconic West Coast-style Pale Ale. Our brewer’s decided this beer should be all about the hops. Therefore, we brew it without any crystal malt. In choosing to brew a beer this way, we are left to focus solely on the expressive nature of the hops they choose for this beer.

Warner Robins, Ga. - Lazy Dog Growler - 22 oz bomber. Pours a hazy medium orange with a fluffy snow white head that leaves plenty of sticky lacing. Aroma has some nice piney accents, some light pear accents. Flavor is solid with some light citrus bitterness, a touch of pear fruitiness, some yeasty notes in the back end. Mouthfeel is nice ans smooth. Pretty decent.

Murky orange-copper color with a big white head. Aroma is malty, earthy with a hint of orange. Taste is sweet fruit, earthy, pine and a bit of citrus hops, with a citrus aftertaste. Very well balanced, though a little light-bodied for my tastes. Overall, a very good beer.

Pours clear amber-orange with a big fluffy beige head, good retention, very fine lacing. Aromas of pine resin, grass, apricot, biscuit, and some other bright fruity esters. Light body, smooth, crisp, dry. Lightly sweet, medium bitter finish with a lingering pine flavor. Very drinkable and enjoyably bitter.

Bottle shared thanks to Dave. Pours out a lightly cloudy orangy color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is clean, some nice citrus/fruity hops, mild grainy sweetness and some fruit. Taste is a nice bitter floral/citrus/fruity hop profile with some soft grainy malts in there, but as the description says, the hops are the star here, nothing over the top, but just a nice balance of flora/fruity/citrus hops. Tasty beer.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2014 The aroma is subtle, floral hops and pilsner malt. The flavor is a bit more pungent, also floral but with notes of pine and fruit. A clean crisp bitter finish and low ABV make this very easy to drink.
