Brown pour with a lacy head. Aroma is lots of citrus and pine hops with a bit of caramel malt. Flavor is sweeter than expected, but well balanced by a big dose of the hops. Very nice!

Taster. Pours a cloudy yellow hay hue, with quarter finger of light white foam. Aroma is spicy pepper and lemongrass. Taste is hoppier and fuller than I would have guessed. A darker, more serious character than the appearance suggested, some pine, hay, citrus, and honey notes. Nice

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance: Pours a yellow gold with an amber tint. Not much head on this draft pour.
Aroma: Lemon and tangerine burst.
Taste: Grapefruit, mango and dry malt.
Mouthfeel: Fizzy, crisp, tingly, refreshing, juicy.
Overall: This is my favorite kind of beer. Big on juicy hops, easy to put down. Think Mission Street Pale Ale, San Diego County Session or Firestone Walker Pale 31.
