COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Summer Pale Ale is our version of the iconic West Coast-style Pale Ale. Our brewer’s decided this beer should be all about the hops. Therefore, we brew it without any crystal malt. In choosing to brew a beer this way, we are left to focus solely on the expressive nature of the hops they choose for this beer.

Bomber into a glass. Not sure if fresh, as I bought it at the end of October...but it seems just fine. Lots of carbonation. Thick, persistent head. Aroma of fresh cut grass, onion, hints of pepper, bready yeast. Taste is lightly bitter, hints of tropical fruit, sweet, grassy, pepper. Finishes with a lasting bitterness with hints of fresh grass. Nice, easy drinking, full-flavored beer.

22 ounce bottle - Bullock’s in Woodstock, Georgia.

Appearance: A hazy light copper-hued body filled with a little lively carbonation. Sustained, lightly fluffed white head.

Smell: Riding above the subtle base malts are tropical scented hops with a citrusy fruitiness as well as floral and pine tones, imparting notes of grapefruit, tangerine, even some papaya.

Taste: Soft pale maltiness with a hint of crisped grains and a small sprinkling of sugar. An initial floral component shifts to a long tropical, citrusy flavor, pulling in a fair but not unnecessary amount of hop bitterness and ending with a thin hint of muted pine and earthiness. Crisp, moreish finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. A notch above medium carbonation for a nice bit of crispness.

Overall: A tasty pale ale I finished in a flash. What happens now is we start with the shouting and the yelling and
