3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy orange/light amber pour. Quite viscous looking. Thin but lasting white head. Steady carbonation lies deep within, buried and barely moving under a syrupy body. A citric hop aroma is soft and well defined, refined too. Mostly notes of navel oranges and tangerines. Plenty of malt, somewhat sweet, slightly nutty. Quite light and fresh flavor initially. Great balance of malt and hops, but the hops soon take the lead in intensity. Orange and grapefruit bitterness is thoroughly intense and very satisfying. It does seem like a jumbled up hop character(too many varieties). Finishes bitter and smooth. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall very good, but a little too syrupy at times.

Pizza port wipeout IPA. Pretty great. Unimpressive yellow clear appearance. Aroma is a little weak in power but has lots of citrus. I really like the flavor. It’s not at all overpoweringly bitter. Instead it’s clean and maybe has some orange going on. I can’t believe this is 7%. Well done.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Translucent and magnifying polished brass in color with a head that looks like freezer burn and tinted like a praline. Fiercely ripe, herbaceous and tropical aroma realizes green dandelion roots, ruby red grapefruit, ripe kiwi, enzyme-laden orange marmalade and baby clementines. Starfruit and strawberry kiwi lay in with a smooth tropical taffy trait. Bitterness dances on top of the waxy flavor coating. Tropical oranges careen guava juice that’s sliding of the seeds while cherry blossom cotton keeps it clean and fresh. Medium bodied and a pure pleasure of a West Coast IPA, winding down with dehydrating papaya enzyme and baby clementines for the one-two punch of the flavor-bittering hop combo. Thanks for the bomber, tpkenned!

A nice hoppy nose, with bursts of citrus, this is all accompanied by a nice copper color from the 22oz bottle (THANKS Bmartin08) the beer is hoppy in taste but not overpowering and the more i drink the more the beer becomes balanced. a great brew, on the verge of IIPA for us east coasters. i cant wait to try more west coast IPA’s.

I was impressed with the balance of this beer, quite floral and hoppy, with the bitterness complemented by noticeable malts. creamy tan head and quite lacy, with a nice golden color. suprisingly smooth on the palate, considering the amount of hops crammed into this brew. like a pine-forest with a citrus finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bomber from Saarlander, thanks Aaron. as expected a big floral & pine nose. appearance is a clear light amber with a short lived head and some spotty lace. flavor is all about the hops with some sweet malt just lurking around in the background. while very drinkable, the blend of hops seemed to be fighting against one another. the intent may have been to add complexity, but in the end, it seemed a bit muddled.

Medium sized tan head, retention is very good with loads of sticky lace hangin around. Hazy, apple juice/orange colored brew. Lucious nose of fruity hops, spices, citrus with juicey melony notes, a touch resiny and herbally, ahhhh. Body is med/light, crisp, lightly resiny and surprisingly brisk! Just a ton of tastey hops, citrusy, fruity and extremely aggressive, a bit sappy, resiny and fresh, tropical and lush. There,s malt in there but it,s mostly buried. Dry, blitzing hop finish, gorgeous! Killer quaff! Props to FlacoAlto for this amazingly tastey brew!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz bomber pours an amber body with a large and creamy offwhite head. Good retention and lots of clumpy lacing. Fruity hops nose of grapefruit and orange with a kiss of pine. Active carbonation, medium body and a hops bite on the tongue. Dry and bitter taste, hop driven. Grapefruit, pine, and rind, with a note of orange. Somewhat harsh with hops overload. Very westcoast IPA.

Bottle from Naven. Hazy, orange, amber color. Smell of hops, pine, grapefruit, spicey peppers, caramel, flowers, malt and orange peal. Tastes the same but better. Wow! What a nice ballance of the different hops. I love this one!

Draught @ Pizza Port, San Clemente. Pours a hazy amber color with a small white head. Malty hoppy grapefruit aroma. Sweet malty hoppy flavor with hints of grapefruit and pine needles. Dry hoppy bitter finish.
