Bottle with Alaskanwarren. Copper, lots of persistent white head. Fresh cedar and tangerines, seaweed tingle around the edges. Soft marmalade hop flavor, full and delicately sweet. A very mature sort of IPA. Yum.

Dark amber with a sizable off white head. Good amount of lacings. Aroma was a bit less than expected but nothing bad. Taste was fruity grapefruit medium bitter hops with a good amount of sweet malts for the IPA style. Hops became a bit leathery toward the finish. Nice IPA, may have been a bit old as the date was 12-06-09. I would like to try a fresher version sometime.

Very bitter hops in the nose with a nice amber coloured body with no head at all. Perfect aroma of piney and strong hops. Medium-bodied; Very balanced flavour of hops and malt with a bit of sweetness at the end. Bitter aftertaste, as expected from all the hops! Overall, a good beer to try and definitely worth buying! I sampled this beer on draught at O’Brien’s Pub in San Diego, California on 23-September-2006.

[For beerspeech at Epstein Bar.] Dark golden and good long lasting offwhite head with hoppy floweraroma. Flavor of citrus, malt, great bitterhops, grapy and grass. Great surprise. Wellhopped IPA, more an IIPA!

A very well balanced beer with all the different hop varieties. You get bits of pine and citrus and grassiness with nothing being to overdone. A IPA that makes you want to just drink and enjoy, not murder you slowly with over hoppiness.
