Bomber courtesy of agl108. Pours a hazy old gold color with TONS of little floaties and a huge light-tan head on top. A very spicy, citrusy nose with lots of grapefruit and lemon juice. Pine and oranges come around as it warms up a bit. Carbonation seems a tad high, but that doesn’t detract from the flavors at all. Good body. Citrusy flavors throughout. Finishes pretty dry with that typically harsh West Coast IPA spiciness. I could pound these fuckers all day. Thanks brah!

Definitely a West Coast IPA. Nothing but hops here. No malts detected at all. Nice citrus notes and flavor. Super strong hop character, very dry and warming finish. The aftertaste hangs around till next Tuesday. Smooths out a little as it warms, but be warned, there’s a very fine line between a good drinking temp and too warm on this one. A little out of balance in my opinion but nonetheless a fine example of its type.

bottle at Port Brewing tasting at the Brickskeller. cloudy dark amber. aroma is full-on hops: pine/citrus are evident. flavor does not disappoint: herbal, earthy hops in the flavor, and a spike of pine and citrus on the finish. just plain great.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2007 Hazy, pale body with a medium-sized off-white head. Very nice hoppy nose with grapefruit, floral, tangerine and light bread. The flavor is slightly sweet, grapefruit, light caramel and clean yeast. Medium body is round with soft carbonation.

bomber appearance: minimally transparent orange with a fluffy, tantalizing ivory head...aroma: citrus, fruity hop nose with a slight sweetness coming through from the malt......taste: very characteristic of the nose. very good dose of citrus hops that eventually opens up to some caramel malt. finish lends itself to a touch of a piney bitterness....tasty

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2009 (re-rate: cask at Ritual) even better on cask - rich mouthfeel on top of the flavors as mentioned; the only downside is that I didn’t want to sample any of the other beers (tasting at Brickskeller) amber with small light tan head. Lovely floral hops aroma. Flavor was citrus and floral hops. Just enough malt to carry the hops.
