nbutler11 (729), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Apr 10, 2009 On tap at Papago. Pours copper with a trim beige head. Smells and tastes of waxy grapefruit with a note of apricot. Finishes with the flavor of flour. Very basic and almost too bitter for its own good. thefrutigers (100), , Arizona, USA Apr 7, 2009 bottle 22oz: Smell was hoppy and piney, just not as strong as some other IPA’s I’ve tried. Flavor was sweet malty with bitter slight grapefruit end. End was rather smooth. Very enjoyable not the very best, but really pretty darn good!
Allen (1285), Switzerland Apr 7, 2009 Bottled 650ml. Courtesy of badlizard. Appearance: Hazy amber. Average head. Good lacework. Aroma: Deeply inviting with a lot of lychee, quinces and pine needles showing up. Lovely hop profile. Flavor and palate: Resiny hops. Good bitterness. Deeply pleasant. Overall impression: Another flawless hop juice. Beautiul label too which makes me kind of euphoric. Worth having a look at the label. Thanks a lot badlizard! andersand (271), Malmö, Sweden Apr 6, 2009 very typcal, rather light IPA with the typical flavours of some pine, grapefruit and other hop characteristics. A bit too thin and not fresh tasting enough though. jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands Apr 4, 2009 Bottle@Home. Grassy aroma. Yellow colour, white head, good lace. Malty, sweet, very bitter, grassy, grapefruit. Soft with a nasty bitterness in the back of you throat. Nicely balance, just not over the edge IPA. gorditoabd (162), San Diego, California, USA Apr 4, 2009 Bomber. Pours a murky, bubbly pale amber with a thin, but full, foam head that lasts. This has the look of a beer that you would be foolish to pass up. Aroma is conifers, citrus, and hops. Taste starts out with something I just can’t identify, but it’s almost a neutral, non-taste. Then come the citrus, woody hops, tumbling down to a nice bitter finish. Me likey. IPA+ Birdiebeagle (778), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 3, 2009 Bottle Pours a hazy orange brown with a large off white head. The head has good staying power and laces very well. Has a wonderful hoppy aroma of spruce, pine, and citrus. Has great carbination and a wonderful mouthfeel. Has a watery texture. The blending is perfect and the flavors bring my tatsebuds alive. It is all backed up with a good strong finish. This beer is close to IPA perfection. I love it. BuckeyeBoy (1645), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 1, 2009 Bottle Pours out a copper topped with a tall cream head. Aroma was nice plenty of citrus hops and a nice rich malt. Tast was more of the same. Citrus hops and a nice body. A nice bitter end.
