Bottle split with Dallas. Pours a bright hazy orange with nice white lacing. Aroma is fresh pine hops. The taste is citrus and sweet hop interchanging with notes of bitterness.

Draft at Monks in Philly. Great tasting and smelling IPA. I had had a bunch of great stuff before this, so I wasn’t blow away or anything, but a nice drinking IPA that I would be happy to have as a go-to.

22oz bomber, fresh from south bay. pours a bright, orange-gold with a soft, pure white head and great lacing. aroma is great with big, juicy citrus hop notes of orange and white grapefruit, hints of sweet pineapple and peach, and a unique, spicy pine/lemon zest/white pepper element sneaking in behind the fruit and light malts. flavor is excellent as well with the spicy herbal, floral, and pine resin hop notes showing a solid presence behind the fruity notes of orange, pineapple, passion fruit, and lemon with light bready malts adding balance. palate is medium bodied and extremely drinkable with smooth bitterness for such a highly hopped brew. overall, another damn tasty IPA offering from Port.

22oz bomber poured into a tulip. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a big creamy white head that doesn’t budge much and leaves very good lacing. The aroma is big on light, juicy citrus with oranges and pineapples coming through with a hint of the toasted malt sweetness in the background. The taste is hoppy but still balanced with the initial juicy hop bitterness coming in the form of lemons, oranges and pineapples. The backbone is a solid doughy bread sweetness and the finish is slightly bitter but not overly so. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with good carbonation and not nearly as bitter as I was expecting. The balance and lack of scathing bitterness with the nice light and juicy hops make this was exceptionally drinkable. It is lightly bitter, extremely smooth and goes down way too easy. An excellent IPA.

22oz bomber from Supreme Liquors, Cambridge MA, 2 October 2009. Quite pale gold in colour. Anything but pale in character. Lashings of hops throughout. More herbaceous and nettley than resinous. Still plenty of pine though. Maybe a little straightforward and short on malt backing but mighty tasty.

On tap at SPTR, poured into a pint glass. Nice golden-straw color with fluffy head. I didn’t notice too much aroma except for some mild flowery scent. Mouthfeel was nice and smooth. Taste was fairly light and non-descript for an IPA. There was a little bit of flowery hops with grapefruit, however, the flavor was very mild. I was expecting more of a kick and depth of flavor from an IPA of this abv. Also, there was very little "heft" to this beer; it almost felt like I was drinking a lager. Not a bad IPA but I wouldn’t seek it out.

This pours with a cloudy appearance, with a nice head on it. Tons of great hop aroma and taste. I think this is the best IPA I’ve had in along time other than Pliny the Elder. It is a very well balanced beer between the malt and hops. Not overpowering in either way, but the hops do stand out.
