Really big and bold IPA with a complex hop palate and good alcohol to finish it off.

A cascade hop bomb of pine and citrus. Flavor is assertively hoppy and strict bitterness. Very fresh hop tasting with slight malt presence.

7th May 2015: sat in my daughters house in Laguna Niguel, Orange County, arrived from the UK yesterday afternoon. Bomber, first pour clear golden with a good off-white foaming head, second pour the sediment joined the glass and the body turned orange and cloudy. Huge hop nose and taste: bitter and very ’West Coast’ (in my limited opinion) in nature with an aggressive hop base which doesn’t let go. The second glass with the sediment within was even more bitter and hop centric. Not for the faint hearted or people who have a hop allergy.

A bit disappointing. On tap at Half Moon Bay. A very cloudy gold color. Taste has some grapefruit and his, but is really a little boring. Not as much to it as expected. Just ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a solid amber. Solid clumps of lacing. Aroma is the cleanest citrus you can fathom. Notes of biscuit, malty caramel, pineapples (aka tropical), but also more malt. Soft/medium carbonation and full body. YES! YUM! Seriously, this is damn good brew.

Pours cloudy gold. Nice off white head. Okay lacing. Aroma of mango, trop fruit, pine and citrus. Pretty typical West Coast IPA. Citrus and medium pine rule the taste. Light malts, very smooth medium oily mouthfeel. Could’ve used a little more pine...then it would be the PERFECT West Coast. Two thumbs up to Port!

Thanks Glava, Renato & co! Poured a yellow-golden body with an off white head. Vaguely tropical, ?dank?, sweetish aroma, full and nice. Huge hop taste, tropical fruit et al., very fine bitterness to boot. Not in its prime but definitely bears some markings of a classic.

0.65 bottle@Svijet piva, Zagreb. Shared with Niko. Hazy orange, very strong white head. Flowery aroma, different hops involved. Taste is honey, orange and something I can’t read from my notes... Medium body, drinkable. Very nice looking IPA and almost as tasty.

Perfect West Coast IPA. All the citrus and mango pine and grass aroma and flavors needed or even wished for. Mild malts help hop flavors dominate this beer.

tap at lord hobo. hazy pale golden pour with a very nice creamy white head, good lacing. strawberry candies, melons, peppery tropical fruits, some dusty citrus, lemon leaves, lean spicy maltiness, light wheaty peppery notes, light carbonation, light body - oily and almost fluff; assertive yet balanced spicy-citrusy finish. not spectacular or stellar but pretty solid ipa.
