Feb 1, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a frothy white head. Strong hop floral aroma with some sweet citrus notes. Hops continue to the flavors. Pine resins. Good citrus notes. Hop crispness is a little subdued Long dry finish with some stickiness to it. Real good IPA.

Feb 1, 2009 22 oz bottle. Poured a murky golden hue with a small short lived head. Instant impression of hoppiness on a par with a double IPA. High drinkability and an instant promotion to the rotation.

Jan 31, 2009 Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy orange-amber, with a thin head. Aroma of a complex blend of hops, with a bit of sweetness and yeastiness. The flavor is distinctly hoppy, with floral and fruit notes (more than the usual citrus). Sweet, but not too malty. Marred a bit by a metallic aftertaste, but still very good.

Jan 30, 2009 Bomber shared with MatSciGuy - orange/coppery color - citrus hop and malt aroma - well balanced between the two that carries into the taste. Bitter but not too, not as assertive as I was expecting but overall a very enjoyable brew.

Jan 29, 2009 Hazy orange-gold, big long-lasting white head. Huge citrus and resin aroma, with an enigmatic fruitiness. Again, beguiling fruits on the palate-- the usual citrus pith, but also melon, passionfruit, guava.... Nice smooth malt structure in perfect balance. Outstanding!

Jan 25, 2009 Updated: Jul 5, 2009Bomber. Hazy copper color (I wont punish the brew, I’ll blame the crazy haze on the asshole at Whole Foods who layed all my fucking bottles down horizontally in my bag). Nice aroma of floral and citrus hops and a bit of pale malt. Flavor is pretty much the same just a bit better, very balanced -- spicy and bitter but very drinkable and refreshing. Smooth and creamy on the palate with just the right amount of carbonation -- medium bodied. Overall: very solid stuff up there with the other great Cali IPAs.

Jan 25, 2009 (Bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-01-22) Amber and clear. Small white head. Hops and malts in nose. Full bodied and dry palate with lot of carbonation. Malts, hops, bitterness and saltiness in taste. Bitter and malty aftertaste.
