Pours mid gold or even a warm gold on second glance with white head. There is plenty of sweet honey slipping through and a ton of hops. Nice bitterness but the sweet maltiness keeps this hop monster well under control, really decent beer. A7 A4 F7 P4 OV15 3.7 AlabastorJones (765), San Francisco, California, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear amber-gold, with a medium white head, good lacing. Deep pine and citrus aroma. Medium, slightly dry body. Nice depth of character in the hops, pine and grassy and a little grapefruit. Just a little bit of sweetness up front, quickly becomes nicely bitter, with a mild bitter, pine aftertaste. WakeandBake (424), Greenville, Michigan, USA

Flavor is lightly bitter, plenty of hops with a strong grain bill, some caramel malt backing up the huge hop profile.Lots of fruit pineapple, peaches, and some spice. Creamy mouthfeel, dry finish with a hint of grain. Very drinkable. A very solid offering for sure. JonMoore (1561), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2008 Bottle. Hazy orange colour with a slim and long lasting white head. Lot of hops in the aroma with some citrus and a sweet edge. Hops dominate the taste but it is also nicely complex - soft, bitter, creamy, dry, some caramel. Good mouthfeel. Very good IPA. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Bottle. High and long lasting creamy white head leaving nice curtains. Hazy thing looking orange body. Dried fruit aroma without the expected heavy hops note. Relatively mild actually. The hops is far more evident in the somewhat bitter and grapefruit nut flavor. The beer does, however, also have some unexpected creamy nots in combination with the long and dustry dry aftertaste. Low carbonation. Indeed good. Cornfield (4923), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 18, 2008 Rating from a bomber picked up at the Sam-apostrophe-s in Downers Grove, Illinois. It poured a slightly hazed copper body with a moderate head but provided plenty of thick lace regardless. It had a sturdy hop aroma of yellow grapefruit, zest of lemon, and a touch of pine with a bit of caramelly sweetness seeping through from time to time. The flavor continues the lean towards the hoppy bitterness and finishes on a prolonged, peppery hot and bitter note. Nice. ghawener (953), San Salvador, El Salvador
