This has a lighter aroma with a very malty flavor to it. The finish is strong and lasts a while. A little darker in color but still pretty good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

1pt 6 fl oz bottle. Slightly hazy orangey-gold amber colour, frothy white foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of tropical fruit mango, floral orange, hop resin. Taste is sweet malt caramel well balanced with tropical fruit, orange marmalade, honey, floral notes and a citrus grapefruit hoppy bitterness. Smoothish mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.

Aroma of tropical fruit, mango, citrus... Hazy yellow gold... Flavor is moderately bitter, citrusy backbone, well balanced... definitely not overdone on the hops, citrus and spicy hop finish... Solid ipa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours three fingers of head on a cloudy straw colored body. The aroma is mostly bright tropical fruits with some pine and dankness thrown in. The taste starts with a little pineapple sweetness and quickly goes to a moderate grapefruit bitterness and finishes with a strong and long pine bitter note. Excellent depth and profile. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. Outstanding.

Slightly hazy dark golden with a thick foamy white head. Big delightfully floral nose with potpourri and lilac and geranium and grapefruit peel and lime and a touch of pine. Super complex nose. Taste is splendid as well with sweet floral hops, a kiss of pine, some lemongrass, and some gentle blonde caramel undertones providing a solid base. Lots of fresh cut floral/potpourri hoppiness, but with a manageable bitterness. Just wonderful.

Type: 22-oz. bottle Glass: Manzanita pint glass From: VONS in Normal Heights (San Diego), Calif. Price: $4.23 (w/ VONS card) (also 20 percent off) Purchased: April 10, 2014 Consumed: April 17, 2014 Misc.: Bottled Jan. 31, 2014; Have had this so many times but only recently realized that I’ve never rated it Poured a caramel, amber, semi-clear color with two fingers of pillowy off-white head. A nice line of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Tons of layered foamy lacing along the sides of the glass. Thick coating of lacing on the top. Smelled pine, soapy notes, grapefruit, wet cascade hops, lime, citrus hops, floral hops and lemon zest. Just lovely. Tasted pretty close to the nose, although not as much grapefruit as I remember. Got floral hops, citrus hops, pine, soap, cascade hops, grapefruit, lime, lemon and caramel. Light-to-medium body. Creamy-to-oily texture. Average carbonation. Bitter finish. Just a very good IPA. No surprises from my past times having it. Definitely one of my go-to IPA’s.
