Cloudy and orange like an apple cider. Minor amount of head. Light comes through; no clarity. Bitter aroma hops, more chlorine bitter than grapefruit or woody. Some decent sweet malt balance. Hops are bold and woody. Flowery. Malt comes in as a sweet, corn-syrupy balance. Lots of grapefruit hops. A little thick, bouncy on the tongue. Leaves a bitter film. Really grapefruity and bitter. Powerful and yet drinkable.

Amber pour with an offwhite head. Aroma is sweet grapefruit hops with some nectar and some bitterness. Flavor is more of the same, some caramel sweetness in the center. spicey, citrus, resinous hops with a bitter finish. Not extremely hopped but nice complex hoppiness that is just as satisfying

Bottle pours amber-orange in color with a soapy white head. Aroma is heavy in grapefruit, pineapple, and pine. Flavor follows up the same with additional notes of peach, trace amounts of toffee, and white pepper on the finish. Starts with sweet malt up front, and finishes bitter and resinous. An overall decent IPA that is bold without being TOO aggressive.

22 oz bomber. Pours a cloudy, light amber with a massive, four-finger, white head that has stupid awesome retention and leaves swathes of poofy lacing. Really is one of the most beautiful beers I’ve ever seen. Aroma is massive: spicy hops, pineapple, fresh ruby red grapefruit, white pepper, and a beautiful note of butterscotch rum. Taste is massively dry and bitter- wow- huge dryness from beginning to end with massive resinous, piney hops and white pepper. Dry finish. Reminds me a lot of a Chouffe Tripel IPA or a super-hoppy saison. Gets a bit soapy after awhile though. But really awesome.

22 oz bottle. Pours copper with a thick head. Aroma of big hops, pine, and citrus. Flavor is similiar, big citrus punch, and a nice bitter palate. It is extremely easy to drink. A very good representive of a West Coast IPA.
