Bottle. Pours a slight amber with an off white head, some lacing. Aroma is hops and grapefruit. Nice creamy, malty sweetness, then you get hit by the bitterness of grapefruit and hops, but not overdone. Nice beer.

Pour is cloudy amber with a decent-sized whit head. Plenty of lacing on the glass. Aroma is a mess of several hops, with citrus and simcoe present. Flavor is also very hoppy. The bitterness is a little different than what I expected. A little off-balance. Plenty of malts to even things out. Overall, a good brew and a solid IPA.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with tiny sediment particles, moderate, dense lasting off-white head with lacing. Aroma is sticky caramel, mild butterscotch, mild pine, pineapple, orange. Seemed like malt was just as pronounced as hops. Flavor has great balance, lots of hop and malt complexity for the style. Malt is mildly toasty, buttery, just a touch of sweetness. Fresh leafy hop flavors, mildly resinous, light citrus fruit and flowers. Beautiful rich, smooth consistency. Lingering bitterness and floral-fruity hop flavors. Must be one of the top two or three IPA’s I’ve tasted.

This one pours an orangy amber color with a thick white head that subsides slowly giving away to sudusy lacing on the glass. The aroma is in your face with hops of the citrus kind along with some orange and grapefruit citrus and touch of caramel malt sweetness. The flavor is much the same with the citrus hops dominating the palate with a caramel malt backbone to smooth things out. The medium body and creamy mouthfeel are really nice and just adds to the great flavor. The flavor is what separates this from other ipa’s. This is just really well balanced and has a smooth citrus hop finish. This is one of the best ipa’s that I have had.

Bomber. Pours a dark golden color with decent white head. Nose is all citrus hops. Palate is citrus and piney hops – yet not over the top. Decent lacing. This is a nice drinkable IPA. Very refreshing brew.

Pours orange with a white head. Has a great citrus, pine, hops aroma. Good carbonation throughout. Solid flavoring, mostly bitter hops. Smooth and good texture going down.

Bottle thanks to mreusch. Poured a clear amber-orange color with a moderate off-white head that diminished to a thin, soapy layer but still left nice lacing. Aroma of pine, citrus, and a nice passion fruit aroma. Light caramel malt upon entry leads into a semi-piney, green hop hit with undertones of grapefruit and a slight spiciness. Hop bitterness dries the palate on the finish. Nice IPA, thanks for hooking me up Matt.

old rating: 6/4/8/4/17 - 3.9 pour is a cloudy pale orange, lots of sediment, a medium size egg-shell head that hangs out for awhile, great lacing. smell of light grapefruit hops, pineapple, citrus, touch of caramel, and floral. taste is thick, creamy, grapefruit is predominate, some sweetness, touch of citrus, a little touch of malt in the back, good bite, nicely bitter, the bitterness stays for a long time after you drink, and some pine.
