Bottle. Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, yeast, and some sweetness from the malt. Flavors of some bitterness, not over powering, and some sweetness from the malt.

Decent sized white head of fine bubbles. Reduces slowy. Light carbonation. Big floral and citrus hops aroma. Lots of grapefruit, orange, bit of caramel malts and some yeasty notes. Color is a hazy dark orange. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. A little bit thinner than I expected. Big hops presence in the flavor again with some tangy grapefruit pith, a noticable alcohol warming and buttery malts. This brew has a great mouthfeel. Finishes tart and warming from the alcohol. Lingering creamy malts and dry pucking bitterness. A very good IPA.

Bottle: Deep orange, dirty and full of sediment, large rocky off-white head, clingy lacing.   Semi-sweet citrusy nose, mild hop bitterness.   Has somewhat of a cheesey funk to it too.   Strong citrus aspect on the tongue.   Assertive hop presence but not overpowering.   Malts compliment the bitterness very well.   This one has the citrus background but without all the harshness one would expect from the rind.   Very well done.   Does pick up a bit more rind as it warms.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   This one seems to be heavily on the citrus side, very minor tea and tobacco leaves.   Not a lot of floral or what I would call hop bitterness, but for being a citrus oriented IPA I thought it was quite nice.   Thanks for sharing Dane.

One of the most refreashing IPA’s on the market. I was sooooo stoked when they decided to bottle this! Pours a light copper, nose of citrus fruits, nice hint of malt as well.

Bomber pours a clear deep gold with a slight copper hue and off white head. The aroma is mild with sugar smelling malts and mild grapefruit hop bitterness. The taste has a solid malty sweetness and a delicious mix of grapefruit hop bitterness and sweet flavor. Certainly a nice example of the classic San Diego IPA.

Tap. The best aromas from any IPA. Malt smells of roasted and caramel, a heavy smell of pine, resin and orange for the hops, and a moderate yeast note of broth, with wood, toffee and pepper in the background. Head is huge, white, creamy/wispy, is mostly lasting and lacing coats the glass better than 50%. Color is clear amber/orange. Flavor starts moderately acidic and bitter, and the long finish is heavily bitter and lighty acidic/sour. Palate is light to medium, between watery and oily and has a lively carbonation. it finishes moderately astringent. The aroma is perfect, cold or warmed. This is the best IPA I’ve had yet.

Pours a hazy orange amber color with a two finger off white head that resists fading. A good amount of lacing present. The smell is floral pine and grapefruit over a sweet malty presence. Full bodied the mouth feel is adequately carbonated and conditioned by the high intensity hops. There is a balance sweet malty character as well. Full flavored, the sweet malt and piny taste combination yields to a grapefruit after taste that linger appropriately. I’m not sure what style this is more true to; an IPA or a Double IPA...no, i take that back. This rivals many high end double ipas.

Very sharp citrusy with minor pine aroma. Flavour is very hoppy with a slight alcohol burn... one dimensional. A little unbalaned, would be good to have just a little more in the malt department. Cheers!
