| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 6, 2009 This one was in my fridge too long. Despite that, it held up well over time. There was a nice pine, citrus hop aroma and the beer was nicely balanced with good hop and malt flavors. I think some of the bitterness mellowed out over time but the beer held up well otherwise. This was a pretty good IPA. arrogantb (700), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Nice orange color with a sticky white head. Excellent aroma of fruity hops. This had a subtle but distinct piney taste with a welcome bitterness at the end. I really like West Coast IPA’s and this is one of the best I have had so far. I wish we could get Port Brewing/Lost Abbey beers here in Colorado...

Glass: Tulip
Aroma: Citrus and Pine, nice but not overwhelming.
Appearance: Beautiful golden color, almost glows.
Flavor: I get a lot of pine in the flavor, and really like it. It has a really nice bitterness to it, what I’m looking for when I get an IPA, and the slightest bit of sweetness at the end.
Palate: Lively carbonation pairs very nicely with biting acidity.
Overall: Solid IPA. I dig it. Quevillon (1522), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Bouteille de 650 ml, acheté au Charles Street Liquors à Boston, le 9 juillet 2009. Ambrée caramel brumeuse, moyen collet beige pale. Arome d’houblon mi-sucré bien parfumé, avec des notes de pêches. Goût d’houblon un peu sucré de fruits du vergés, bon amèrturme sec avec des notes d’orge sucré. Une bonne exemple de son style! AskForJenny (632), Ontario, New York, USA

This bottle traveled a lot, and it may have lost something on the way. This may be better when fresher. j12601 (1215), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

Pours a very hazy apricot gold with a huge dense creamy white head. Big citrus and pine aromas with a touch of malt behind it. Little bit on the thin side of medium but nice spicy flavor with some sweet fruity notes to it. Big grapefruit bitterness that hangs around for a while. Very well done.
