AskForJenny (627), Ontario, New York, USA Aug 24, 2009 22oz - Nice representative example of the style, but not worth seeking out. This bottle traveled a lot, and it may have lost something on the way. This may be better when fresher. j12601 (1151), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA Aug 22, 2009 Bottle from Bman1113VR in this years summer secret santa. Thanks man! Pours a very hazy apricot gold with a huge dense creamy white head. Big citrus and pine aromas with a touch of malt behind it. Little bit on the thin side of medium but nice spicy flavor with some sweet fruity notes to it. Big grapefruit bitterness that hangs around for a while. Very well done. lassem (296), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 21, 2009 Bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. 66 cl. Moisty harvester yellow with a nice white fading head. The nose is nice and fat. with dark citrus notes, some metal and malts and a tiny fart.
Fat mouthfeel with a tart and crispy taste with a heavy hoppyness. The finish leaves a long bitterness with a buttery creamyness. boamr (112), Pennsylvania, USA Aug 16, 2009 Updated: Aug 20, 2009On tap at Capones. Pours an orange color with a little white head to it. Has a citrus hoppy smell to it. Has a mango\pear taste it. Not to bitter on the finish either. Very nice IPA nerdrocker101 (102), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 10, 2009 Bottle. The pour is golden orange with a full, off-white head. Smells of bitter citrus and floral hops. The flavor is more resiny pine than citrus. This beer packs a nice bite, but is overall very well rounded. bierkoning (5989), La Tropica, Netherlands Aug 2, 2009 Bottle @ home. Orange color. Grapefruit, red berries, pineapple, chalk and oily flowery hops in the aroma. Oily piney citric hopbitter flavor. Some malty sweetness. Long oily piney hopbitter aftertaste. Just a touch of alcohol. Well done. McGrupp612 (29), hamburg, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 1, 2009
Draft @ Union Jacks. I have had this many times before. I like it a lot. Sharp aroma of pine and citrus. Sharp bitterness that carries a great hop flavor too. This beer seems bigger than 7%. Very good. cprochak (388), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 27, 2009 On tap at PIzza Port Carlsbad, 7/9/09. Pours a nice amber, little head. Wonderful citrus and pine hops. This bitterness carries to the flavor, which is a great blending of sharp bitterness, followed by slow finish. This was the best IPA of the day.
