| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 13, 2007 Shared with Hogtown harry and Blankboy, ,courtesy of blankboy. Very, very nice aroma - piny and citrus hops, lot lots of centennial hops (one of the few that I can identify). Great. Murky deep dark yellow, good sized big yellow head - good lacing. Taste - really up front orange citrus, smooth, gives way to lovely bitter and light malt taste. Lemon citrus as well. A ton, absolute ton of flavour for only 7% - this is more flavourful than many DIPA’s. A stunning IPA. Zinister (1199), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 10, 2007 Bomber. Hazy orange with thick white head. Big hops with typical grapefruit, citrus, pine resin and good malt backbone. Taste is the same, although grapefruit rind came though. Nice body, with great lingering finish...nice beer. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 10, 2007 Bottle (22oz). Shared with blankboy and tupalev, blankboy’s bottle. Murky orange pour, large fluffy off-white lasting head. Aroma - ahhh, hops; good hops; citrus, resin, pine/spruce, lush and pungent, enough malt backing to remind me I’m not drinking bark juice - and a tinge of lactose, just because. Taste leans more to the grapefruit pitch hops, starts on the mild side, nice malt/hop balance, then it builds - acidic, dry, pithy bitterness for days, alcohol enters in the linger. Thick, dry body, incredibly astringent, nicely acidic, pine and grapefruit sweetness in the linger. Juicy and incredibly hoppy - this seemed like dIPA hop levels to us - either way, WTG Port Brewing. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 10, 2007 A good solid IPA. I think it kind of gets lost with all the other american IPA’s out right now, but its worth a try. Not overly hoppy, but you can tell its there. The nose was great and full of citrus and pine. Brownish-hazy color with a decent head. Had a bomber from the local bev-mo. ucusty (1881), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2007 Pours a dark golden color, not much carbonation or lacing in the glass. Plenty of hops here, but an almost watery texture to it. A solid IPA, and a great deal too ($3.99 for a bomber in Washington state). I would definitely have more. tronraner (1911), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 5, 2007 22 oz bottle. Pours hazy gold with large ivory head. The aroma is very orangey with some other citrus and pine notes, and some spicy wheat bread malt scents in the background. The flavor is orange and some lemon and grapefruit, angel’s food cake, and then a rather assertive bitterness. The finish is crisp and bittersweet.
