Pours a dark golden color, not much carbonation or lacing in the glass. Plenty of hops here, but an almost watery texture to it. A solid IPA, and a great deal too ($3.99 for a bomber in Washington state). I would definitely have more.

22 oz bottle. Pours hazy gold with large ivory head. The aroma is very orangey with some other citrus and pine notes, and some spicy wheat bread malt scents in the background. The flavor is orange and some lemon and grapefruit, angel’s food cake, and then a rather assertive bitterness. The finish is crisp and bittersweet.

Hazy with a soapy looking head. Very fruity aroma with delicate floral notes, some bubblegum and some mint. Heavy, sweet, and resinous. Decent hop flavors but muddled. I get some DMS also. If this is 78 IBU’s, it is not apparent. I wouldn’t call this massively hoppy though. I would like to try his on tap, closer to the brewery for a better perspective.

Bottle. Citric aroma. Little caramel notes. One good thing is there isn’t a lingering bitter aftertaste. I think they are playing it safe with this one. It is pretty much pedestrian as far as I am concerned. That having been said, it is still really good.

Big sticky caramelly hoppiness. Mangp and other rich tropical fruits. Sticky resin up front and transitioning to fruit in the back. That caramel malt has a much lower profile than in the aroma, but it is solidly there to add a candy like sweetness to the beer, but still sit far behind the hops. Big orange flavor, like an ogange sunkist candy. Big affertive bitterness in the finish punctuating and adding great texture to the palate. Complex, explosive and drinkable. Pretty damn good IPA.

Looks fairly average, pale amber with a medium head and some lacing. Lots of citrus hops in the nose of this beer. You can really taste all the varieties of hops in this one. There’s plenty of aromatic citrus, dry grass, and resiny pine. The thick gooey mouthfeel is a welcome relief from the intensity of the hops. Finish is long and dryingly bitter.

Pours a clouded amber brown with a nice light tan head that sticks around. Nose is of hops, sap, and a touch of citrus. Hops are dominant though. Flavor is very woody with a firm hop tone. Standard hop character that stays very consistent and smooth and never waivers. Feel is thick with a good carbonation on there and a nice liquid feel. Extremely drinkable. Well crafted, smooth, and even. It’s not showy, but it doesn’t have to be. I have been looking forward to trying something from these guys, and I am glad to finally get the chance. Well worth it.
