mind struggling far too hard to srt this, which is NOT the way I wish to approach beer. Doing this for Doug, the bastard gives me beer and expects me to drink it, I do and then here I am with this hpo monster that I like, but am not totally enraptured wth due to it being what many think an American IPA *should* be- ultra hop dominated with subdued malt. yeehaw and do indeed like it more and more every sip, so strike what ever negative value youo thought I was putting here.

A perfect IPA in my opinion 5+++ all the way. Exccellent use of differnet hops along with some new ones that add complexity, great use of the ABV and great use of malts. PERFECTION

A good IPA sure pours nice into a glass. Great color and frothy head. I love the aroma of a good IPA and this one is very good. Now, the strong, hoppy flavor I’m still learning to love, but I enjoyed this brew a lot.

Pours a slightly hazed orange color with a thin off-white head. Laces in random spots of bunting. Aromas are sticky and juicy with citrus hops and grapefruit flesh. Bitter flavors with grapefuit rind and pine sap, Peppery snap every now and then. Bitter orange and orange oils coat the tongue. Sweet, almost a honeyed nature, but also a biitter blast. A hoppy brew to say the least. An onslaught of citrus hoppiness and fruity tones. However there’s an indescribable note that makes this one fall short. Sadly, I do not have a 2nd bottle to give it another go-round to figure it out...

22 oz. bottle. Pours a clear honey color with a medium eggshell head that is mostly lasting. The aroma is pretty much all hops: citrus and floral. The flavor is an explosion of hoppy bitterness. The citrus and floral are present as in the aroma, along with some pine in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full. This is an excellent IPA, too bad it is not sold locally.

22 oz bottle (thanks bmartinl!). Pours a hazy amber with a small head. Nose is citrus, floral, and fruity. Tastes like it smells with some pineapple and lots of resiny pine in the finish. Body is full, carbonation is average. Mmmm this is one tasty IPA, the best I have had in a long long time.

Pours a golden copper color with a prominent white head. Aroma is a mixture of hoppy and flowery notes, with a bit of citrus as well. Taste is dominated by hops, but the flowery notes and citrus characteristics come in at the end to create a very balanced, nice IPA.

Bomber. Big thanks to ( bu11zeye ) for trading this to me. Pours a medium copper with a small frothy head. Aroma is sweetend malts and hops, Fruity Pebbles, funky pine. Flavor is quite sweet. Sugary malts, bitter hops, and pine. The finish is bitter and sort of dry.
