ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jun 19, 2007 Appearance: Pours a clear, light copper body with a white head.
Smell: A bit of understated aroma of caramel and pine.
Taste: Toasted caramel with resinous pine and plenty of bitterness and acidity along the way. That’s about I’m getting oughta this one.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Moderately carbonated.
Drinkability: Just another in a long line of IPAs. eyesandsmiles (179), Mission Viejo, California, USA Jun 19, 2007 A 22 of Wipeout drank on your patio at 4pm on a sunny southern californian afternoon is pretty damn satisfying. Similar to lots of of other ipa’s but a little less agressive than some of its brothers. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Jun 17, 2007 22. Thanks, Aspidites! Pours medium gold with ambery highlights. Giant flowery hop nose. Sweet floral candy all over the place. Big tingly forward attack; medium body, hot resiny bitterness as you get nearer the finish. Quite the grand tour of hop varieties--this is amazing stuff and I really wish I could get it all the time. hellbilly (1502), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jun 10, 2007 Updated: Jul 26, 2009on tap @ papago...smells of citrus, flowers and sweet caramel. flavor is dominated by grapefruit (skin, pith and juice), pine and very little caramel/malt. needs a bit more malt to even it out. medium to full body for one I. lots o’ hops...couldn’t taste anything the rest of the night...i can’t believe i’m saying this... a bit over board on the hops... wait, no it’s not...8/3/8/4/18/4.1

Deep yellow color, Wonderful powerful hoppy aroma. Small head (typical PP carbonation). Nice hoppy taste as well. Underlying sweetness. I wonder what it’s like after a year of aging? I should go buy a bottle. 9/3/8/3/16

Thick well carbonated palate. Sweet grapefruit and caramel taste up front with a good piney bitterness to the finish. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Jun 8, 2007 Pour a golden color with good head and lacing. Aroma was ton of citrus and pine. Flavor was full of graprefruit and a great blend of malts. This one was good way up there on my list just wish i could get more of their brews axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 3, 2007 Poured a darker golden color with a huge 3 finger white head and a lot of pretty big floaties. The aroma is super sweet. Notes of Cirtus, pineapple, and honeysuckle are all present. The flavors are a bit more earthy with a lot of resinous pine. Still some pineapple but it’s a lot more subdude than the aroma. I had high hopes for this one after the first sniff but the flavor just didn’t quite live up.
