Bottle. Standard one dimensional bitter IPA. Some grape, some orange, the usual stuff really...

Bottle. Always good, had a few times now. Love some west coast IPA. balanced citrus hops with smooth malt make this great to drink. A bunch of juicy hops in here too. Really good.

Style & glass: IPA in a tulip 22 fl oz x 7% ABV = 154 / 60 = 2.5 beers * 150 C = 375 calories (est.) Available at: Craft Beer Outlet, Philadelphia, PA for $5.99 Citrus aroma fills the room, deep amber body under a bright white sticky head with good legs, lemon zest and surprisingly bitter flavors for an IPA, highly bitter, zesty with a very long finish, overall, a complete winner for hopheads.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy burnt orange with a medium sized, chunky white head that was soon reduced to a small layer of various sized bubbles. The aroma is mostly pine and fruity citrus, there is also a grassy floral character that goes well with the sweet crystal malt. For a west coast ipa it reminds me of something that would come out of Colorado (Hercules, Double dog). The flavor is similar to the aroma, but a little more on the sweet side as far as balance goes. Don’t get me wrong there is a lot of bitterness on the back end, but upfront there is a very strong sweetness that has almost a Granny Smith apple tartness to it. Mouthfeel is pretty full, and leaves a little bit of bitter, sticky hop oil in the gullet. All in all, a very good ipa with a wide mix of hops. Worth picking up.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Slightly hazy golden colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is very much sweet fruity and flowery hops along with some slight grassyness as well as earthyness. Flavour is quite much the same. While fridgecold the beer still hides the alcohol, but as it warms up the alcohol begins to show it’s signs of being there. Quite solid.

Very strong pine and grapefruit nose. The crystal malt base compliments the bitter pine/citrus/floral hopping. Nice, uncomplicated hopbomb.

Soft carbonation, cloudy, yet a very big hop aroma with detailed piney and citric notes in the grapefruit range. Quality hops. Alcohol soon evident. It’s a dirty beer with some appearance flaws but feels just about perfect right now - it’s a down to earth hop fix. Flawed but useful.

22 oz.bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with an off white head. Aromas of hops, fresh pine and citrus. Taste of hops & more hops. Slight hint of grapefruit and even less malt. Typical West Coast IPA hop bomb. Dry semi bitter finish.
