4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Purchased a bottle at Latimer Deli, Philadelphia. Happy to finally try something from Port Brewing! Pours thick and orange with a small and dissipating white frothy head. Body has tightly packed bubbles and lots of little sediment particles, looks great! Aroma Aroma is hoppy, but not quite overpowering (though as I try this beer and write this review I am outside and it is a little windy). Wow, taste is super smooth, not bite at all, you can taste the hops, but wow, incredible. I love this beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Big, blowy, sticky, lasting, white head. Fresh, grassy hop. Light toffee. A bit fusty. A bit minty. Taste is piny, minty sweet. Light dry. Big, resin bitter. Palate is soft, boozy, and oily. Finishes long, heavy duty bitter. Very tasty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
660ml bottle served in a pint glass.
A: Pours a light and slightly hazy color forming a huge bubbled, creamy and soapy white head. Good retention and lots of lacings formed and left
S: Very flowery and grassy and piny in the nose. Nice combination of five hops. Strong notes of pale malts too. Some notes of mango caused by the hops
T: Absolutely refreshing IPA. Strong notes of pale malts, caramel malts, tropical fruits, citrus notes, grassy notes and also piny notes on the hops. In overall, a quite dry and bitter taste. Not extremely bitter, apparently 78 IBUs
M: Medium body and carbonation. Malty and flowery hops aftertaste
O: Quite drinkable. Californian style IPA. Refreshing. Strongly recommended

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Rather bland for an IPA not much nose or palate. Nothing bad just nothing good like an IPA. Expected more flavor and more hoppiness. No bad tastes so not offensive. Tastes more like a pale ale.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A decent IPA, well balanced and not overly bitter, but not super memorable. Smells of citrus, pineapple and a bit of hops. Taste starts with lots of citrus and pineapple, balanced quickly by the hops, which are never overwhelming. Slightly bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Wonderful beer. Lots of citrus and pine in this with some residual hay flavors. Pours hazy golden with good head and lacing. Quite the bitter finish on this. Tap at Monks cafe.
