Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 1, 2005 Updated: Jun 23, 2009[At GABF 2004] A golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is nicely fresh and dominated by hops and grass, while the flavor is sweet and very grassy. Nice. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 7, 2007 (Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of markgugs. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden with a small, off-white head leaving some laces. Fresh grapefruit notes in the nose. Medium-bodied with a light, underlying malt sweetness, but otherwise completely dominated by a distinct grapefruitish bitterness. A bit soapy. A fresh west coast IPA but also solidly bitter. 050807 omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden May 30, 2008 Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, creamy head. Rich lychee aroma. Quite dry with clean rounded mouthfeel,. Highly carbonated, making the body seem more spritzy than firm, but it also dilutes the hop aromatics. Still the malt character is negligible, as this beer is all about the grapefruity hops. Long very bitter finish. yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 At Lost Abbey and Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Peach fruity and light orange fruity hops aroma. Dry hoppy and mild caramel malty for base flavour. Fruity hoppy and light spiced flavour with a solid bitterness following. Ends dry and fruity hoppy, light burn in the far finish. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark May 12, 2009 Bottle 22fl.oz. @ home. [ Courtesy of Secret Santa ]. Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange, orange shell, moderate pine. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081223] oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Jun 9, 2009 Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Slightly hazy golden colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is very much sweet fruity and flowery hops along with some slight grassyness as well as earthyness. Flavour is quite much the same. While fridgecold the beer still hides the alcohol, but as it warms up the alcohol begins to show it’s signs of being there. Quite solid. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 11, 2007 Bottle.
