[At GABF 2004] A golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is nicely fresh and dominated by hops and grass, while the flavor is sweet and very grassy. Nice.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of markgugs. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden with a small, off-white head leaving some laces. Fresh grapefruit notes in the nose. Medium-bodied with a light, underlying malt sweetness, but otherwise completely dominated by a distinct grapefruitish bitterness. A bit soapy. A fresh west coast IPA but also solidly bitter. 050807

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, creamy head. Rich lychee aroma. Quite dry with clean rounded mouthfeel,. Highly carbonated, making the body seem more spritzy than firm, but it also dilutes the hop aromatics. Still the malt character is negligible, as this beer is all about the grapefruity hops. Long very bitter finish.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle). Slightly hazy golden colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is very much sweet fruity and flowery hops along with some slight grassyness as well as earthyness. Flavour is quite much the same. While fridgecold the beer still hides the alcohol, but as it warms up the alcohol begins to show it’s signs of being there. Quite solid.
