Bottle that came via Beermerchants/Cave Direct cheers Phil L. Pours mid gold or even a warm gold on second glance with white head. There is plenty of sweet honey slipping through and a ton of hops. Nice bitterness but the sweet maltiness keeps this hop monster well under control, really decent beer. A7 A4 F7 P4 OV15 3.7

On tap @ Pizza Port Carlsbad poured a clear light copper with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, pine, earthiness and a hint of grapefruit with a lingering bitter finish.

My bottle (22oz) shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev -- courtesy of toncatcher. Pours a murky copper-orange with a large lasting fluffy off-white head. Aroma consists of lots of fresh, wonderful-smelling hops -- a true hop medley -- what else do you need really? Flavour’s the same, it’s a hop smorgasboard! There’s plenty of malt in the back to balance it out and it has a pleasant long bitter finish. So tasty. Medium to full bodied. Simply fucking awesome!

22-oz. bomber from FlacoAlto. Pours clear amber with a small fizzy white head, quickly dissipating, spare lacing. Aroma is light malt (meal, cereal), heavy hops (flowers, fruit, spruce), light yeast (dough) with notes of apple and peach. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness; nice clean fragrant hop flavor. Medium bodied, average carbonation, thin and oily texture with a metallic finish.

Much thanks to hopdop for sharing this bomber. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a large foamy off white head that laced and sustained. Aroma of citrus (lots of orange), floral, perfume along with a great caramel malt balance. Flavor was up front hop bitterness followed by some nice sweet caramel malt to balance along with some grapefruit. Enjoyed the aroma slightly more than the flavor...great IPA overall.

Bottle. Amber pours with a small fluffy white head. Aroma is big hops! My mouth is watering just smelling this! Lots of pine needles, grapefruit juice and sweet malts. My first sip of this is heavenly. Sweeter than expected, but still relatively bitter. Pine sap, grapefruit pulp, light caramel, maple, sweet malts and orange juice. Body is chewy and slightly sticky. Resinous notes abound in this medium-full palated beer. Light carbonation as well. Finishes with more pine notes, citrus juices and oils, and sweet maltiness. Bit of caramel as well. Very delicious!
