| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of grapefruit, sweet citrusy hops, and some light fruits (raisin). Flavor is quite sweet for an IPA. Sweet fruit, raisin, grapefruit, with a slight bitter finish. Decent beer, ok IPA. I wish there was a little bit more hops (perhaps my bottle was slightly aged?) yobdoog (1543), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

Love some west coast IPA. balanced citrus hops with smooth malt make this great to drink. A bunch of juicy hops in here too. Really good. Quevillon (1543), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada

Ambrée caramel brumeuse, moyen collet beige pale. Arome d’houblon mi-sucré bien parfumé, avec des notes de pêches. Goût d’houblon un peu sucré de fruits du vergés, bon amèrturme sec avec des notes d’orge sucré. Une bonne exemple de son style! DSG (1515), Tel Aviv, Israel

Aroma of strong resinous hops and some pine needles. Bitter hoppy flavor with pine, resin, light citric hints and some malt. Medium-bodied. jasonp (1514), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 19, 2008 From a bottle recently purchased in Seattle (Bottleworks I think). Pours an attractive, mostly clear copper with a thick, lasting beige head. Given the hop bill on this one, I was surprised at how tame the aroma was; just a whiff of floral grapefruit. Flavor starts with a base of sweet pale malt, light caramel and then notes of citrusy grapefruit, woodiness and a touch of peppery bitterness. Like with the aroma, I’m a bit surprised by the lack of bursting, juicy hop flavor in this particular bottle. The body is very nice; medium and drinkable with a creamy texture/moderate carbonation. Definite re-rate in the works when I go to SD later this summer for RBSG. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Apr 30, 2007 Bottle in trade with padrefan98. Nice clear orange-copper color with a thin white head. Great piney/citrus hop aroma that manages to be sharp but not astringent. Palate damn near perfect. Hop character develops throughout the taste, expressing the pine and citrus characters atop a nice malt base. A great IPA. dmac (1507), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 3, 2007 22 oz bomber purchased from Capones. Pours a very hazy orange/amber with a HUGE foamy white head that slowly disipates and left some serious lace on the side of my glass. Huge grapefruit aroma that was easily detectable from three feet away as soon as I opened the bottle. Chewy mouthfeel with a very dry and bitter finish, seems almost like an IIPA. While this beer was still on the cold side the flavor was all over the place, lots of grapefruit, grainy bread and alcohol that didn’t meld well at all but seemed to be competing for first place in the strength department. As it warmed the three flavors found harmony and it melded quite nicely. Very good indeed.
