(tasting at Brickskeller) amber with small light tan head. Lovely floral hops aroma. Flavor was citrus and floral hops. Just enough malt to carry the hops.

Jul 21, 2007 mind struggling far too hard to srt this, which is NOT the way I wish to approach beer. Doing this for Doug, the bastard gives me beer and expects me to drink it, I do and then here I am with this hpo monster that I like, but am not totally enraptured wth due to it being what many think an American IPA *should* be- ultra hop dominated with subdued malt. yeehaw and do indeed like it more and more every sip, so strike what ever negative value youo thought I was putting here.

Oct 4, 2007 Hazy with a soapy looking head. Very fruity aroma with delicate floral notes, some bubblegum and some mint. Heavy, sweet, and resinous. Decent hop flavors but muddled. I get some DMS also. If this is 78 IBU’s, it is not apparent. I wouldn’t call this massively hoppy though. I would like to try his on tap, closer to the brewery for a better perspective.

Apr 7, 2008 22 oz bottle. The beer pours a golden yellow with a large white head. The beer tastes pretty light to be honest - something I didn’t actually expect. Aroma of citrus, pines, and hops.

Mar 25, 2007 The aroma and the flavor are both very grassy and herbal. The flavor is crisp, refreshing and full of citrus notes, like orange peels and slightly spicy as well.. The carbonation is pleasant - medium bubbles, very easy to drink, well-balanced IPA.

Apr 29, 2008 Pours a golden loight brown with a quick fading white head. Aroma is of lots of hops, but not enoguht to kick you in the face. Taste is hoppy, but a bit watery and malty, not what I had expected.

Dec 16, 2007 On tap at PP Carlsbad. Clear bronze amber with off-white head. Slight citrus aroma with light sweetness. Big bubblegum flavor with grapwfruit, pine, sweet abd awesome. Medium bodied and creamy. Awesome IPA.

Nov 17, 2006 Beer pours slightly cloudy copper color with an awesome beige colored totally retained head. Aroma is a full bore hop assault. Aroma of fresh green hops, lots of citrus, juicy notes. Flavor is wonderfully bitter finishing with a wonderful bitter fruitiness. Yummy!!!
