Beer_Hawk (673), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Feb 5, 2007 Thanks bro (Vac) for sending this out for Christmas (Shared at the Nashville Tasting)! Poured a nice orange color with a white head that left light lacing. Big aromas of orange, grapefruit, and pine. The flavor found grapefruit mixed with light caramel and other malts. Medium body and moderate bitterness throughout. Truly an enjoyable IPA. Thanks bro!!
D_malone102 (67), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 17, 2008 Citrus Hoppiness Dominates. This is the epitome of a west coast IPA. Fruity tones combine with a soft maltiness to add some balance. veshi (2), USA does not count Aug 13, 2008 Shared this beer with my neighbor. A good citrus-y aroma and a very pleasant and hoppy flavor. Fruitfly (29), , Pennsylvania, USA Aug 10, 2008 Hazy orange amber with active light head. Smell is a nice range of fragrant hops with pine and a tiny bit of carmel malts. Flavor is noticably shallow. Finish is bitter and fresh. I prefer IPAs with more malt balance. yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 At Lost Abbey and Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Peach fruity and light orange fruity hops aroma. Dry hoppy and mild caramel malty for base flavour. Fruity hoppy and light spiced flavour with a solid bitterness following. Ends dry and fruity hoppy, light burn in the far finish. HughConway (255), USA Aug 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours amber with decent head. Hops, hops, hops. In aroma, in flavor, in finish. Nice west coast IPA
