That is the Wipeout. The aroma was grass, floral hops, and hops. The taste was hops. The name should be hops. Everything about this bad boy was hops. I thought we did hops well on the east coast but man...this is hops. I know I keep saying hops but after drinking this I can’t think about much else. Thanks Dirty_Martini for the trade! spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Updated: May 4, 2009A bomber from Hi-Time Wine Cellars. Orange-amber color and pours with just a thin head. The aroma is citrus hops and pine but it’s a little weak. Really nice grapefruit hoppy flavor, this is very citrusy, some pine as well with light malt backing. Very nice, just like an IPA should be, and the aggressive hops are what I’ve come to expect from a good West Coast IPA. I really do like the hop profile in this one. This may fall just short of the top tier of IPAs in my book but that’s mostly because of aroma and appearance and this is a great tasting IPA. Re-rate: Few more bottles, not much more to add other than these last few bottles created a nice frothy head which yielded some heavy lacing. Much better appearance. The aroma still doesn’t match the flavor. Same nice West Coast grapefruit hoppy goodness. Becoming one of my favorite IPA’s. I love it. borgination (101), Lee, Massachusetts, USA

Spicy & hoppy nose. Cloudy orange/red, murky but healthy. Sediment dances at the bottom when agitated. Grapefruit/citrus on the tongue and good mouthfeel. Hoppy bitterness all the way down. Great West Coast IPA. 1 Wipeout + 1 Blind Pig = 1 splendid evening Aggy360 (115), Anchorage/ Vista,CA, Alaska, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 1, 2009 YES! This is a really good IPA. It pours a nice golden yellow orange with a small white head that lasts for a little while. The aroma is beautiful. A nice fruity, citrusy, piney, sweet hop nose. There is some slight malt aroma that comes through. Everything you smell you taste. All the hops are great, What a blend! This brew comes off hoppy, then slides into a nice sweet malt middle, and hits you good with great hop bitterness. I will be running to the store to pick up more of this. A really well put together IPA.
