2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Serving: Draft at Tuscarora Mill. It pours a light gold color with a small white head. The nose is light with a little bit of florals and grass. It’s rather thin on the tongue with notes of grain, grass, light citrus, and a touch of apple. Rather abrasive bitter finish. The flavors don’t all work together leaving sort of a jumbled mess on the tongue. Not impressed.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: bright gold-orange, with a short, bubbly white head that shrinks quickly. Aroma: zippy nose, with mango, light pine and pineapple, bit of apricot and lemongrass--really nice. Taste: as the aroma indicates, with the addition of a bit of toasted white bread. Finish: there’s a juicy, lasting fruity bitterness that’s not exactly dry, and not as bitter as, say, an IPA. Notes: Really, really enjoyed this beer. The abv puts it right on that session range (this could almost be called a session IPA if it was a tad hoppier), and the flavors were really refreshing. Great palate. Would definitely drink again.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Different label than that in the picture. Pours a hazy amber with a one finger-thick beige head. The crisp aroma features a little caramel, some graininess, very light floral qualities, and some citrus in the background. Goes down thin to medium-bodied and quite crisp with a high level of effervescence. The taste starts with some light caramel and some touches of grain. A tad biscuity in the middle. A little bittering citrus and lemon zest at the tail end. There’s not exactly a whole lot going on here, but this is clean and quite drinkable nonetheless.
