COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The beer is a deep golden color and medium bodied, with a soft round malt profile and crisp and spicy hop character on the finish. This lager is brewed in the traditional Pilsner style, using authentic Pilsner malt and noble Saaz hops.

Downright Pilsner gets its carbonation completely naturally as it lagers in our fermentation tanks for six weeks. A unique twist on this beer is the dry hop addition of Saaz hops. This additional infusion of hops gives the beer an extra refreshing bite on the finish.

14 oz pour on draft at the District Drafts stand (Section 130), Nationals Park in DC. Cardinals vs. Nationals. Served in a clear plastic cup. Slightly hazy golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, wheat, herbs, stone fruit. Tastes of citrus fruit and peel, malt, wheat, some bitter floral. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Nice enough for a ballgame on a hot summer day.

Pours a brilliant deep straw color with a foamy white head. Notes of sugar cereal, catty hops, and cream of wheat. Not bad but the hops were a bit muted.

Bottle from Chevy Chase Supermarket. Nice bold gold body with thin head. Nose is floral, sweet, citrus. Taste is also nice and floral, of mangoes and fruits, with a hoppy kick in the finish. Nice one. With lemon notes in the finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear straw yellow body with a minimal fizzy white head that faded quickly. The nose is very minimal, I can’t really smell any hops, and there’s just the faintest hint of Pils malt. The flavor is pretty bland and blah as well. Very minimally hoppy, and the malt base isn’t especially clean or crisp either. Light bodied and a little limp on the finish with fizzy prickly carbonation. A pretty poor example of the style.

Poured from a bottle. Clear golden color, medium white head. Musky grain aroma. Light body with a clean grain flavor and a light finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
