The best local beer available in the Washington, D.C. area. Always fresh, crisp, flavorful, and balanced, with just the right amount of hops and barley malt.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Really dug this for an APA. Aroma was crisp hops, nice citrus notes of orange, lemons, grapefruit, fantastic. Flavor is similar, super crisp, bitter citrus all around. Lighter body, but just right for the style. All I ask for in the style.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Orange-gold beer with a wonderful candied-orange peel aroma, with whiffs of honey, flowers and resin. Crisp bitterness and plain old citrus hop flavor. Useful and very tasty.

Yummy! Pours a golden yellow color with a light white head. Aroma is mild. THe flavor is really nice, fruity, almost a peachy hops. It sits well in my mouth. Good mouth feel. Very nice bittering on the back side! This is a really good beer!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Beautiful hoppy nose, fantastically American but not classically PNWern; explosive and juicy citrus (even pushing strong kiwi and lychee) and a floral undercurrent. Hazy golden pour with a creamy beige head. Taste is more of the same as the aroma, super juicy citrus orange and grapefruit outdistanced by the more exotic brethren, a solid caramel base but nothing is hard here. Bit of a chalky/minerally touch on the otherwise clean medium body. Light bitterness and semi-dryness, a really fruity wake-me-up that convinces me to expect good things from these guys.

12oz bottle shared by BeerandBlues2: Pours a clear deep golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with some gressy herbal hop notes. Starts with pretty good fullness and light malty sweetness with a touch of toasted caramel and bittering hop balance before a drier, clean bittersweet finish. An enjoyable APA.
