COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Essential Pale Ale is a deep golden color with hop aroma reminiscent of fresh fruit. The pleasing bitter taste from American hops is balanced with English and German malts, and offers a complex full flavored character that is smooth and refreshing.

355 ml bottles bought at SAQ Rosemere on June 21, 2014. Honey blonde, thin head. Hoppy aroma sweet herbs, some citrus notes. Taste of herbs dry with notes of lemon, alcohol sensation (a little strong for 5.5%). It is not essential for me!

12oz bottle, honey gold color with a thick pillowy white head, and a nice mild floral tropical fruit, citrus, leafy hoppy nose, with some peach, pineapple, litchi, orange fruity accents, with a light honeyed pale, toasted malt, herbal note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a mild toasted, caramel malt, light flowery tropical fruit, citrus, leafy, grassy hoppy character, with some mild fruity pineapple, candied orange peel, peach, subtle panettone cake flavours, within a faint mint leaf, orange marmalade undertone, leading towards a soft lingering fruity peachy, pineapple, leafy, grassy hop finish.

Although the aroma is quite bread and hopeless, the taste is nicely bitter with some freshness to it, almost citrus like notes. Actually not bad although aroma can be more inviting.
