COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Monumental IPA is a rich copper color, and is intensely hoppy. We add a special blend of American hops throughout the brewing and fermentation process to create a complex combination of aroma and flavor. This ale exhibits floral notes, flavors of citrus and resin, combined with delicious caramel background notes. The balanced style will keep the palate fresh and invite the drinker back into the glass.

On tap at brewery. Coppery, yellow color with hazy appearance. Pillowy head that quickly dissipates. Classic piney/grapefruit hop aroma. Hits you at the front.top of mouth and the bottom half of the tongue. Larger carbonation. Pretty average IPA.

Aromas of orange candy, bitter citrus. Hazy orange with a mostly lasting white head. A touch of initial sweetness, a little fruity, pretty balanced. Light-medium bodied.

I really wanted to like this better. Aroma is faint hops with some brand flakes and grain wandering out... Taste is bitter with notes of grain, cereal, syrupy malt with the hops as an afterthought. Finish is somewhat bitter. Again, I really wanted to like it more, but it just didn’t deliver...

A cloudy, translucent dark honey color with an aroma that has a hit of spices. The flavor also carries the spices with an aftertaste that is slightly hoppy, bitter bite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Dark golden, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish aroma, some caramel and tropical fruitiness, grapefruit - some citrus hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, some caramel and tropical fruitiness, grapefruit - some piney hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and tropical fruitiness, piney - some grapefruit hoppyness. Well hopped fruity IPA. Could be drier and with less caramel. Nice one though.

Clear dark caramel/golden color with dense off-white head. Aroma is flowery sweet hop, the hop aroma is closer to a Hallertau or Saaz than to an American hop. Taste is more like an American IPA; Bitterness up front- pine, grapefruit, hints of tropical fruits and grasses. Maltyness is noticeable but generic in its flavor and character. Finish is piney bitter and lingers a while. Food pairing is probably critical with this beer- completely different experience depending on what you are eating.
