Poured light golden or straw color. The head didn’t stay around for long. Smells mainly of banana with some citrus. Not bitter at all and a little sweet. Lively carbonation, light body, and sticky texture. Good beer, but it could do more for me.

A very nice aroma with a lot of fruit and some spice. Very smooth going down with the fruit and spice leading the way. Nicely balanced. Well done.

Very nice in the glass -- pours exactly like a wit should. Creamy and heavy spice notes balance out. Coriander, pepper, clove. Light and quaffable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Moderately bitter for a Wit, dryish, with less sweet and spice, and a whiff of lactic sour mash. Refreshing.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Slightly hazy pale straw with a rocky white head and swirls of lace. The taste begins with spices and sour citrus - very little malt. This is joined in the palate by light, but secure, hop bittering, followed by a touch of coriander in the finish. The overall product is quite drinkable, but with the gold standard of Hoegaarden for a measuring stick, it falls a little short.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pouts golden with a thick white head. Nose is weak but obviously wheaty. Taste is prototypical, banana and clove notes with some light citrus. Palate is the best feature. Crisp and dry and refreshing. Tasty but not exactly breaking new ground.

Pours a foggy yellow color with a decent white head. Very heavy malty aroma with a strong sense of wheat. Some lemon in the nose.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aromas of orange, coriander, and fragrant floral notes, with subtle bready scents. Appearance is a hazy, dull yellow, with white head foam. Taste is dry and lightly bitter. Palate is medium-bodied with decent carbonation, and has a short clean finish with some subtle corn-like flavors.

Draft at Pete’s New Haven Style Apizza, Friendship Heights, DC location. Served up a hazy gold color with a small off-white head. The aroma was of coriander, orange zest, lemon, and plenty of wheat. Went down fairly thin-bodied, crisp, and quite refreshing. The taste started quite wheaty and mildly sweet. The finish was all tangy/zesty citrus. Not bad.
