Pale gold with a thin to fluffy white head (depending on where). Quite a fresh citric hop burst in the nose falling back on a pale malt base, which I prefer over caramalt sessionably. Taste is bittersweet with lot’s of fruit, almost like biting into a fruit salad chew, pineapple and citrus hops and a pale malt character to back it up which ticks all the boxes for me. There’s such a fine line between over hopped and under balanced but this seems to work just fine for my taste.

Pine hop aroma. White head. Golden coloured and hoppy with a pine flavour. A little dryness and bitterness in a crisp malt finish. Fin (3415), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Nice citrussy hoppy aroma. Taste has a pushy citrus (grapefruit) hoppiness about it with a nice layer of sweet malts to balance things out, brisk and breezy sort of beer, you’re sort of expecting it to be more hoppy and zappy than it is, but its actually a very drinkable sessionable hoppy beer., leading to a few hoppy burps. The festival is over but there are still a few festival beers on offer and this much like the others on offer this evening is just £1.39 with my a CAMRA 50p off token. Toast and grapefruit on the nose, more citrus on the palate with a good hoppy note, a firm body, a nice underlying bitterness, and a dry-bitter finish. A good strong golden ale. Hops grab too much attention with no clarity. A lot of noise for little signal. Magicdave6 (5491), London, Greater London, England

Alround rating: Fairly big centenial hop like nose, Citrusy with the pale malt only just showing, a hop showcase. I had 2 1/2 pints of this so it must be good but i have to say i was expecting better. maeib (4721), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

The aroma has nice lemon lime and grapefruit notes. Lovely citrussy hop notes in the mouth with lime jelly notes. Fresh clean and well balanced. Good hops but there’s no overkill. Instead very sessionable Score 3.7 Subsequent rating also scored 3.7.

Amber with a low, dense, off-white head, leaving lots of lacing; aroma of pine resin; silky smooth in the mouth and full of resinous hops; short well-hopped bitter finish, leaving a pine resin aftertaste. In one word - piney - if that’s a word!
