Golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma of honey, malt, bready Munich malts and mild noble hops. Taste is sweet and lightly floral with caramel and honey and a crisp finish. Not bad for style.

Bottle - Pours clear light amber with a foamy white head. Nose is toasty wheat bread, a bit of herbal hops, and a little honey sweetness. Taste is mildly sour grain, light toast, a touch of herbal hops, and a big grainy finish. Slick and medium-thin, with medium carbonation. Not bad, but unremarkable.

12oz bottle, thanks to nuplastikk: Pours a clear deep bronze with a spotty-lacing covering of white head. Has a lightly sweet toasted pale malty nose with hints of floral honey. Starts with decent fullness and light carbonation with a mild malty sweetness, some grain husks and a touch of noble bittering hops before a drier, but smooth finish. Pretty true to style and no obvious flaws, but this is not a style I get too excited about.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan, thin, soda-like white head, actively rising carbonation bubbles rising within. Better than I expected it to be. Very malt centered and smooth on the palate, though there is a nice spicy hop bite as well. The honey isn’t massive but accentuates and complements the toasty malt well. Really quite sessionable and enjoyable, Toasty golden malt centered.

On draught at Nig’s Bar in downtown Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden pale colored brew with a decent size creamy off-white head that has some excellent retention and lacing. Aroma is quite faint with some golden grain malt, a hint of honey and some very light grassy hops. Taste is quite smooth, crisp, with more distinct flavors of golden grain malt, honey and more of the floral hops than spicy hops. Finish is light, crisp, clean cut, with a well-balanced golden grain malt, floral hop and yeast aftertaste. Pushing toward a Kölsch style beer than a golden ale. A nice sessional golden beer.
