Draft at the Brooklyn pub in park slope. Pours a deep brown color with a tan lol and bready hoppy flavor. Decent easy drinking beer

Location: Can from Hicksville Beer & Soda, 8/6/14

Aroma: The nose has pine and grassy hops, with some pale malts
Appearance: It pours a hazy orange-gold with a thin sheeting white head, heavy lace
Flavor: It has a clean hop bitterness and a light sweetness, similar to the nose
Palate: It has a soft carbonation, a light-medium body, fairly dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty solid, drinkable IPA. Another nice canned beer. You can never have too many of those in my opinion.

Tap pour. Cloudy apricot in glass. Small head with decent lacing. Nose of pine, orange and sweet sugar malts. Similar taste. Nothing great, but well executed

Growler. Pours a hazy light golden amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first two sips and left light lace. Very pleasant aroma of malt and caramel with ample orange, grapefruit and pine. The flavor begins with malt and caramel and is followed by citrus and pine, although not as pronounced as in the aroma. Moderate bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. Solid.

One Mile House, NYC tap: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus, sweet malts, kind of like toffee, but not really... some sort of candy most definitely. Taste is not at all bitter. It is much more malt forward than it is hop forward, but the hops do provide a nice flavor to it nevertheless. Easy to drink.

Pouring at the Hudson River Fest in Beacon. Pours a hazed amber brown with a thin white head. Malty into light hops. Medium-bodied, sweet and earthy. Sweet malt, syrupy. More malt into light quinine.

Draft. Pours orange with a thin head. Fruity hops, citrus and melon, some medium sweet malts. The problem here is that, despite the great hop flavors, there’s really not enough bitterness compared to the sweetness of the malt profile. A little more bitterness on the back end and this would be really damn good.

The aroma is nice, caramel malts up friont, cirus hops. The appearance is orange in color, white head. The flavor is caramel, citrus, definitely a malt forward beer. The finish is nice citrus hops. Medium in body. Good.

Draft at Pony Bar HK with Linh and ken. Pours a clear amber body’s Ith short white head. Aroma is faint grapefruit and sweet malt. Mouthfeel is thin with lots of malt and light fruit - maybe some oranges. Overall, too much malt even though it remains somewhat clean for the most part, I’d prefer this to be hop-driven.

Tap at the brewery - this is one solid IPA - clean crystal sweetness serves as a solid base for some seriously potent grapefruit and pine hoppiness - despite the high bitterness, there is no astringency to speak of - oily, resinous, potent, but balanced and tasty - nicely done!
