on tap Pours deep amber orange with a lingering off white head. It has a good citrus and pine accented hop aroma. The flavor reveals excellently balanced, very citrus rich hops. This medium bodied brew has a crisp, bitter finish

Can from Bierkraft. My 1st one from this brewery. Amber color, small steady off-white head, some lace. Bready hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity hoppy flavor. Pear and rye. Quite standard strong hoppy ipa.

Can. This IPA tastes and smells of Brett yeast. Leather, citrus, funk on the nose. Fruity, yeasty, and bitter in the middle. The finish is dank and bitter, with distant grassy and floral notes.

Appearance was hazy orangish gold with creamy white 1 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are soft grassy, herbal, spicy citrus hops with slight sweetness of malts. Taste are citrus, herbal, piney hop burst upfront, then middle malt sweetness. Pine clean backend. Palate was creamy smooth CO2 with medium body, then malty, citrusy piney finish. Overall an average IPA. Mystery Box Trade, Thx Nimbleprop.

On tap 3 oz. sampler at Port Jeff Brewing's tasting room. Hazy, amber with an off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of sweetness (honey/toffee), grads, pine and bread. Taste of pine, honey, light fruit, citrus, caramel and grass. Medium body and high/medium carbonization. A very strange IPA with plenty of bittering hops but also also an abundance of honey and malt flavors. It does not work for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can pours a mostly clear orange with some fluffy white head. Nose is very approachable, some honey sweetness, light grass, some citrus zest, perhaps a hint of butterscotch. Flavor follows along, lightly grassy, some dried grasses too, caramel, malt, pine, some orange too. Crisp finish.

Draft at the Brooklyn pub in park slope. Pours a deep brown color with a tan lol and bready hoppy flavor. Decent easy drinking beer

Location: Can from Hicksville Beer & Soda, 8/6/14

Aroma: The nose has pine and grassy hops, with some pale malts
Appearance: It pours a hazy orange-gold with a thin sheeting white head, heavy lace
Flavor: It has a clean hop bitterness and a light sweetness, similar to the nose
Palate: It has a soft carbonation, a light-medium body, fairly dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty solid, drinkable IPA. Another nice canned beer. You can never have too many of those in my opinion.

Tap pour. Cloudy apricot in glass. Small head with decent lacing. Nose of pine, orange and sweet sugar malts. Similar taste. Nothing great, but well executed

Growler. Pours a hazy light golden amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first two sips and left light lace. Very pleasant aroma of malt and caramel with ample orange, grapefruit and pine. The flavor begins with malt and caramel and is followed by citrus and pine, although not as pronounced as in the aroma. Moderate bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. Solid.
