COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Another orphan from our Ultimate Box Set. Held back specifically for barrel night. Huge fruit in a Lost Abbey sour... Who knew?

At the brewery for the Battel Night. Nose sharp dry tart and stone fruit. Taste is same. Sharp dry tart and light pepper. Bite in the back. Dry up front, vinegar back. Nice.

Taster at brewery. Pours red with a thin head. Leaves a bit of lacing in the glass. Has a tart fruity vibe on the nose. I definitely get the sourness but not at the expense of the fruit. Its hard to express both in a beer like this. Finish lingers a bit as you would expect in a beer like this. Fantastic! What can I say, its a fucking delicious beer.

Tasted at the Barrel Party this past SD Beer Week. This was one of the first beers we sampled I believe and appeared hazy red in color with next to no carbonation. Slight funkiness and fruit on the aroma. Moderate tart and sourness with the cherry and maybe a bit of raspberry fruit flavor. The body on the medium to thin side. Pretty decent sour and probably one of the surprises of the night.

Unblended barrel at the 2012 Barrel Night. Hazy reddish pour, off white head. Sour fruit, cherry, oak barrel, musty funk, berry, and white vinegar. Good.
