1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Can from Kroger Lexington. Pours golden with a thin white head. Not a lot on the nose except a bit of corn. nothing to speak of on the tongue. finish is watery. Just a typical bmc-like fizzy lager.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
it pours a clear shade of very pale yellow and is topped off by a fizzy white head. why i decided to pour it into a glass is still puzzling me. anyway, the foam doesn’t last long and fades quickly to nothing but a film.
the nose has a touch of the ’skunky’ character i was hoping for but it is more of a secondary aroma. out front are notes of flowers, grass, pale grain and a distinct sake-like rice smell. that is pretty much it... non offensive. rather mild.
the taste is not surprisingly more of the same though there seems to be more grain than adjunct-y rice. it is crisp and a bit thin but otherwise quite pleasantly drinkable.
if you’re a budweiser fan and this is the only thing around you won’t hate it. 5/3/5/3/12/2.8

We have too many Beer snobs here. I was tired of paying too much for an everyday drinker that was refreshing and safe for my head. Much better than your standard choices at the supermarket, most ladies will love this light and mild beer as I did. If you are tired of the micro brews and the heavy hoppy, malties but want something much better than Coors and Budweiser-this is it

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The aroma is pretty much trashy macro lager swill with metallic hops, corn, and a bit of funk. The appearance is pale gold with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma but not quite as bad as I was expecting. The palate is smooth but thin and quite refreshing. Overall not quite as bad as I was expecting and I was able to drink it down without issue. This is refreshing if nothing else.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
24 ounce can from a Kroger, opened 5/16/11. Pours a clear golden color with a large white creamy head that fades quickly. Some lacing is left behind. Big corn notes in the aroma, grain, grassy hops. The taste is very grassy hops... almost bitter, but not in a hop bitterness way. Grains, corn, some acridity. Thin bodied. It’s not often of two lagers, the light beer is better, but that is the case with Port Republic, and by quite a bit.

If you’re a Bud drinker, this beer is for you. Would work well as a cheap party beer, should be popular with the college crowd.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Thanks for sharing maniac.... Clear pale yellow with thin white head. Fairly standard corny adjunct laden. A little tinny on the finish. A little buttery also. Not horrible for what it is actually. I’ve had much worse...

Purchased from the Westwood Kroger’s in Cincinnati, Ohio - Okee dokee, this is your basic midwest lawnmower beer, and a sub-average one at that! It pours a highly effervescent golden brew with a tall white head, and the aroma of soap. Tastewise, it doesn’t suck as much as I expected, but it really doesn’t have any real body and originality to the flavor.
