bought a 24oz can for $1 at Kroger, I was told by cheap that this brew is made for the Kroger market. It was a pleaseant surprise, I took cheapís advice and drank it straight from the can. Just a good grass cutting beer, loved it!

Now this is a beer, american style. Probably would be right at home drank from a brown paper bag. Canít see the liquid because I drank it right out of the can; big 24 oz can is bigger than a bomber. The 3 in looks is for the nifty can label. I assume its just cheap plain clear yellah. First impression is not real bad and as a matter of fact is rather smooth for a three cent per ounce. Goes down too easy. .... Nice big can of american cheap pale lager; cheap and it taste like clean beer. Sail close to the wind premium american beer. Brewed just for kroger, heheh! Donít you love it when they use the word premium to desscribe cheap pale lager? No real rude attributes, surprizingly acceptable. . Big thanks to Nike, this brew is a rocking racking big blue can of beer experience.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Picked up a single 12-oz aluminum can during ABA Annual Meeting in Columbus, Ohio. Pours a clear golden straw colored lager with a fast dissipating white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some corn, light grassy hops and a touch of rice. Taste is light bodied, some faint pear and golden grain malt with corn. Finish is quite watery, some sweet creamed corn then a crisp, clean cut and no aftertaste. A light beer it is.

I thought the light variation was actually a little better. A very pale beer, not much there. What is there though isnít too bad. I felt that this type of beer is passed off commonly from more expensive breweries.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: Pours a clear, golden body with a couple inches of fizzy, white suds.
Smell: Not too much going on here, not that it was ever expected, with only a small whiff of faintly sweet malted basic barley.
Taste: Husky barley grains yielding little sweetness. Very faint hop character with a very low amount of incorporated bitterness. Dry, slightly fizzy finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Itís cheap, itís a lite lager, though Iíd still rather take a Sam Adams Light over it any day.

22oz can - pours pale gold with predictable head. Nose is sugar and corn. taste is faintly bitter, indicating some hop presence. Light body and thin texture. Not offensive, nor remarkable. A light beer for cheap.

Iíve had many worse brews, it was 1.18 at food for less in Fontana(Fontucky) cali, for a tall can. tasted like a lightly sweet corn water, some cereal flavor, nothing foul, but not good either, probably could use it for beer pong if cold!

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
can from Fryís, pours light gold, thin quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is grassy, dry hay and corn, very earthy. Flavor is thin, very thin, perhaps one of the lightest beers I have ever had. Slight skunked, soured pale malt body with a spritz of strong carbonation finishing clean with little going on.
