COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At 10.5% alcohol by volume, barley wine style ale is in a class all its own. Intense caramelized flavors create sweetness which is balanced by huge additions of Galena hops. Cascade aromatic hops are added at the end of the boil to compliment this strongest of ales.

Thanks to Suttree for this one. A rusty red pour. Excellent aroma of dried fruits and hops. A fruity cherry flavor that fades to a date flavor. Carbonation is good but the palate is just a tad thin. A smooth full bodied BW. thanks Phil

Medium orange color. Small to medium white foamy head. Aroma is raisins, bananas and sweet malts. A medium to full bodied barley wine. Malts are fruity and sweet. Tons of banana, clove, brown sugar and vanilla flavors. Hops are grapefruity and spicy. A well-balanced barley wine. Very smooth. Finish is very clean. Very mellow as it has aged well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Thanks to Dr. Bill for sharing this one as well.

On draft at the brewery. Somewhat murky dark orange pour, with a thin off white head. Sweet sugary, caramel, rotting fruit, and harsh bitterness. No thanks.

650ml bottle pours an orangeish brown color with about 2 fingers of white head that leaves a few spots of lacing behind. Aroma is grainy with some fruit and alcohol. Taste is grainy malt sweetness with a bit of fruit and a lingering hoppy bitter finish. A really nice barley wine that I thoroughly enjoyed tasting.

(22oz bottle) Purchased at Bottlewerkz, Seattle. I seemingly didn’t mind this beer as much as everyone else? It was very velvety in texture and had a nice brown sugar and spice flavour. Good.

Round maltiness, chocolate, raisins and floral hops in the ashy, smokey, burnt, roasty aroma. Opaque mahogany brown body with ruby tones is topped by a thin ring of fine-bubbled head. Very sweet in the mouth with an ashy character and floral, orange hop notes leading to a bitter, roasty finish. Smokiness and roasted bitterness linger on the tongue. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Bottle sampled with CapFlu, Goldorak, Joey_Capps, Olivier_MTL, Lubiere and MartinT.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye11. The smell is malts, caramel, hops, fruits, sweet, and alcohol. The taste is sweet, caramel, fruits, caramel, more fruits, toffee, and nice. The look is cloudy, amber in color, and has a light head.

Poured a slightly hazy reddish orange color with a small off-white head. Sweet aroma was fruity and malty with a touch of alcohol. Sweet malty flavors with a nice bitter finish. Medium to full body with a good warming sensation.
