COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic Northwest style IPA. Hop Diggidy has a smooth malt background and full round hop flavors. Dry hopping two separate times in the process insures an aromatic and lasting hop finish. Enjoy this very drinkable Northwest ale.

A good AIPA. Hazy, straw-colored orange-gold. Good bomber, earth mother label. Doughy, citric, resinous hops. Frothy mouthfeel. Fruity aroma. Rating from short-term memory without notes. Thanks to Triock for bringing this back from the Pacific Northwest on his latest excursion.

Cloudy amber color, with medium sized head. Nice aroma, toasted malt and biscuits. Good flavor of malt, toasted malt, some toffee; strong bitterness, very resiny (but not piney), with light fruity touch.
A very good thirstquencher, bold; the biscuity notes are appreciated.

Growler pour from the growler. Light golden color. Light white head. Smooth drinkable iPa. Fresh and nice. Light piney. Slight skunk aroma.

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2012 Hazy gold, thin beige head. Aroma of mostly malt and dark fruit, some pine and citrus. I think this may be a bit old. Taste is malty with more hop bitterness than any floral or tropical notes. Doesn’t taste incredibly faded, but the hops are very one dimensional and the malt is by far the dominant factor..3.0. ....Retry on tap. Seems more citrusy, very resinous, a lot of toasted malt. Bettr, but still kind of one sided.

This poured a cloudy light orange with a very robust off-white head and lacing rings that stuck to the glass like glue. Nose of tropical fruit and citrus hops. Medium body and slick mouthfeel that puckers you up some. The flavor is caramel malts with the tropical fruit and a very nice hop bitterness. Finishes dry and bitter. A very nice IPA made true to the west coast style. Highly enjoyable.

22 oz. bottle from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. There was some sediment in the bottom of the bottle and after being rolled the pour was cloudy and dingy orange, brown, gold. It had a huge rocky and fluffy head that was off white. The foam left nice sticky lacing. The aroma was very fruity with citrus and tropical. The flavor had some caramel that was not smelled. It added sweetness. The fruit that was prominent was tropical with the citrus secondary. It began bitter but that settled with warmer temperature. A hint of cinnamon was tasted late. This was a nice IPA and the tropical fruit was a nice addition.

Of the 38 breweries recently visited in WA, this IPA was my favorite! A perfect balance of hops to malt, rich but not too strong. Spectacular setting--take the ferry over and spend an afternoon in this scenic port town.

On tap at the brewery. This was the best of the Port Townsend’s I tasted. A citrus aroma, lots of grassy hop flavor, and a dry bitter finish. Well done.

A coarser hop than the Peak’s beers. Cloudy appearance. This is another pretty decent Seattle IPA. Makes me want to try other Port Townsend beers.

Tap @ Dog & Pony. Clear amber pour with a persistent, creamy white head leaving a coating of lace on the glass. Fresh hop nose, candy sweet medium, lightly carbonated body with pine and floral hop flavors. Great mouth feel but the aroma is not quite what I go for in IPAs.
