Commercial Description:
This rich tawny colored ale has an assertive hop flavor derived from a blend of the finest imported and Northwestern whole hops. The taste of a smooth malt background is quickly followed by a distinctive and slightly lingering Cascade hop finish.

Thanks to Enniskillen for the bottle. Well, I’m going against the grain here, but I enjoyed this. Poured a nice copper with a decent white head. Aroma was mostly biscut and caramel malt. Nice malty flavor as well. Has a roasty caramel sweetness. Nice body. Refreshing.

On tap at the brewery in Port Townsend, WA--Looked identical to the Boatyard Bitter but with a slightly larger head. Golden-light amber body. Grainy, caramel creamy nose with a mild citrus bite. very easy to drink but not stand out.

Taster - Port Towsend Brewing - Port Townsend, WA.
Aroma – Very light to no hops aroma. Had some fruity essence in the aroma.
Appearance – Light golden in color, Nice head and clear.
Flavor – A good balanced beer with a light hop flavor and a very light malt. Nice a well can we say light. LOL
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, nice light texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A nice light beer easy t drink.

fresh hop aroma with orange and bubble gum. slightly cloudy with some sediment. one inch head quickly fell. medium bodied texture and balanced flavor. the malt and hops are very even throughout every sip where you usually find these flavors in peaks and valleys. makes for a good session.

Bottle: Gold, copper, nice head and lacing. Nose of creamy sweet malt, biscuit and light grassy hops. The flavor is grassy and unbalanced, tangy mouthfeel, light tart body and an odd taco-y finish. Ok.
