22 oz bottle, shared by fiulijn (thanks Alex), pours a transparent dark amber with a small white head. Aroma of scotch malts, and light whiskey. Flavour is quite rich, full of caramel malts, dark fruits and candied sugar. Quite a round body, with a good balanced of flavours - no cloying sweetness, nor weakness in the body in any way. Great stuff.

Super smooth and creamy texture. Rich malt flavors of toffee, subtle peat, wet wood and bread. Nice amount of sweetness, i.e., it’s not overdone. Mild hop bitterness with pleasant herb aromas. Warming, cozy and delicious beer.

This was a draft pour at Sirens in Port Townsend, WA. The appearance was rich mahogany with a nice sized off-white head and good lacing. The nose is malty with some roasted nuts. Medium body and smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is very rich with lots of flavorful malts and a nice bitter finish. A really nice beer.
