2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
From a 22 ounce bottle--Another poor pour from Port Townsend. Medium amber bodied beer with a over carbonated whitish head. Infected. Obvious this brewery has bottling issues. Lots of caramel and medium to bold citrus and bitter hoppiness. Leave this one alone. Heck, forget Port Townsend. They kind of suck.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a moderate off-white head on there. Nose is fairly bready with just a bit of caramel to sweeten it up. Taste is slightly toasty with just a hint of caramel. OK, but nothing special at all.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draft at The Upstage, PT. Pours a dark amber with a bit of tannish froth atop. Much as it pains me to knock the smaller operators of the brewing world, this is a vacant beer and there’s no way round that fact. Big bready nose with nothing else to say, and a flimsy little body with perfectly forgettable carb--not flat, not bubbly. The attack, mid-palate, and finish are all startlingly neutral. Amazingly watery for, presumably, having so many more calories than a megalager.
