Our secret weapon. A fulsome, winsome strong ale. A deep copper tinged brew for the true aficionado, longer fermentation and thrice hopping bring about a complex soft bitterness allied to a malt induced sweetness with the characteristic oily Fuggles hop perfume. Not just for students. Once "stuffed" savour the flavour of a glass as a digestif... True "Aroma-therapy".

Grain: Pale Malt, Roast Barley, Black Malt, Flaked Barley.
Hops: Galena, Nugget, East Kent Goldings.

(Porterhouse An Brainblásta (Braonblásta)) Bottle 330 ml at home, from a trade with torriman, thanks! Served into a snifter, ABV 7% Deep red colour on the body, small but thick tan head, with good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Aroma has milky chocolate and vanilla at first, caramel and red stewed fruits and light alcohol after a while with the chocolate returning after every swirl of the glass. Taste mostly of red fruits, moderate sweet, caramel, some alcohol hints, sugar, light english hops, good bitter finish that builds up on the aftertaste. Medium thin body, nicely carbonated, with a good dryness on the palate. Really good.

"so far my favorite of the 3 porterhouse beers i’ve had. great balance between sweet and slightly nutty and roasted malt, and fruity, citrus and slightly bitter hops. really opens up nicely."
