Beautiful deep red color. The foam is rough and disappears quickly. The smell is great. It is really sour, it has something of sour cream and strawberries. There are also some other red fruits, like berries. The taste is incredible. There is apple and other fruits, really sweet but it also has a beery bitterness. It is a beer like no other.

Aroma is brown sugar, a bit of smoke, vanilla, and whiskey. Taste starts out slightly sour, the vanilla and whiskey notes show through, ends with a faint hop bitterness. I like this beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Backlog rating. Keg at Porterhouse London. It pours a deep rich amber color with a nice creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet and malty, with notes of toffee, dried fruits, bread dough and light yeasty spices. Taste is softly sweet and malty, and medium bitter, grassy and earthy. More notes of toffee, bread dough, grains, grass. Medium to full bodied with creamy texture and good carbonation. Overall, decent strong ale

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours the same color as a good bourbon. Head is thin but persistent. Toasted malts are not complimented by the hops. A soda type character remains dank through the palate. Good body. This beer is okay, just not a top strong ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly aged sample, 9 months after BBDYellowish, small head, hazy brown beer with an orange sheen. Oxydized, nutty, sweet - strange for a 7% ABV beer with really not that much aging. Bitter - hoppy - nutty; faint hints at dark chocolate. Bit wry - like walnut peel. Medium bodied, surprisingly spritzy, nearly overcarbonated. Maybe typical Delirium sample - prematurely aged.

(Porterhouse An Brainblásta (Braonblásta)) Bottle 330 ml at home, from a trade with torriman, thanks! Served into a snifter, ABV 7%
Deep red colour on the body, small but thick tan head, with good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass.
Aroma has milky chocolate and vanilla at first, caramel and red stewed fruits and light alcohol after a while with the chocolate returning after every swirl of the glass.
Taste mostly of red fruits, moderate sweet, caramel, some alcohol hints, sugar, light english hops, good bitter finish that builds up on the aftertaste.
Medium thin body, nicely carbonated, with a good dryness on the palate.
