Had sooo high hopes into this one but "only" got something what was near a Doppelbock. Deep dark hazelnut in colour, low steady creamy head and smooth body. Nose of malt. Taste of strong alcohol, nuts, torf, whiskey, roses, straw, mild hops and bittersweet chocolate. Easy to drink but just not nice and quaffable enough.

Starting of with a lots of classic ale, loads of hops and some malt. From the beginning a nice one with raisins, caramel and bit of sourness. But the ending is very unpleasant. Bitter, bitter, bitter. Crazy end which I do not appreciate. Still a classy one. t reommend ? I am not sure.

Pours brown (though very clear). Off-white head. Nose of EKG, caramel. Flavour is quite bitter for the style, dust, caramel, great malt strength, hoppy fruitiness. The finish is surprisingly bitter with a hint of alcohol, earth, soap. Good if you’re a fan of EKG.

deep brown .. fairly simple sweet malts, syrup .. . abv is well masked but still feels quite heavy .. . long finish .. . pretty good for the cold weather

Pours a two finger cream head that fades very slowly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Deep clear copper/amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Toasted malt nose and flavor is toasted malt and some caramel. $4.99 for a 330ml bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, MA.

Láhev 330 ml. Po nalití lehké aroma kávy, karamele a praženého sladu, pěna je nízká krémové barvy s jemnými bublinkami. Pivo samotné je čiré měděné barvy vcelku příjemné na pohled. Po ochutnání je cítit velmi dominantní hořkost která přehlušuje ostatní chutě piva a v ústech se udržuje poměrně dlouho. Pitelnost dle mého není příliš vysoká kvůli opravdu silné hořkosti.
