Draft at 6% ABV. A hazy brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, bread, and phenol from the yeast. The flavor is very sweet with notes of phenols, caramel, bread, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish where a note of caramel lingers. Not clean enough for a Bock.

On tap at Porterhouse Covent Garden, April 2009. Hazy brown. Sweet, malty, true to style. Chewy cereals. Some proper bitterness in the background. It similar many of the German originals - a bit boring.
