It’s pitch-black with a brown, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of fruit and sweet licorice. The flavour is moderately sweet with a light bitterness and notes of fruit, sweet licorice and light dark chocolate, and the finish is dry and slightly bitter.

Bottle at the Porterhouse, London. Pours thick black with a strong, brown head. Dark malts and chocolate roast on the nose. Some booze. Lightly sweet flavor with lots of roasted chocolate and malts, some sharpness. Medium bodied, thick with average carbonation. Finishes with mild alcohol burn and roasty mocha. Nice beer.

Bottle at The Porterhouse, London. Choc and roast character. Less hoppy than the Celebration version. Bit more tar. Still good but not the wow factor.

Úr una botella. Very deep dark brown close to black colour, medium light brown bubbly creamish head, good lacing. Pleasant aroma of roasted malt and chocolate, quite pleasant in serio te digo way! La munnfylla ist sera bueno. El sabor tiene malta roasted junto con sjokuláta, kaffi og ein deiligur beiskleiki, ikki ov nógv pero behagiligur. Los siete por cien de alkoholi are not notable yvirhøvur, ella næstan ikki, so. Lekker.

Bottle, bought @ Vinens Verden, Odense.
Pours deep ruby-black with a fine, staying, creamy, beige head. Lovely duration. Sweet aroma, light chocolate, gently roasted, raisins and good English liqourice. Medium carbonation, creamy and quite dry mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely malty bitter, hard roasted, liqourice herbalness, rather astringent. Some blackberry and a bit of spice resembling cinnamon and coriander. Lovely malty bitter finish. Nice - especially for only 7%.
