Third pint draught at Porterhouse London. Straw coloured body under a ring of white foam. Ordinary lager with refreshing bittersweet fruits. Some hints of cardboard. Rather sparkling and uninteresting. Thirst-quenching, though (05.08.2008).

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2009 Porterhouse Central, Dublin. Burning tyre and solder aroma. One of the worst brewpub brews Ive ever had? Hops engulfed by rubber.Left it on the floor and moved on. Nibble of biscuit. Beyond redemption.

Sample at Porterhouse Central. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a medium thin white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and slight hops. Light body with flavors of grainy malt and lightly bitter grassy hops. The finish is short with a mild hops aftertaste. Slightly below average overall.

Tap at the porterhouse, London. Alround rating: A good clean lager, pale and cearekl malts, but inoffensive and very drinkable. One of the only beers i finiahed from the sampler trays.

After sampiling some very decent brews from the Porter House Brewery i was very shocked to taste this bland lifeless beer, why the hell did they bother making an Ice beer?

Draft @ Porterhouse, Dublin.

Small white head. Very pale yellow body with carbonation. Hardly any aroma. Light dry-sweet fruity malty mealy taste with citric notes. Very light and mild, but still good. Light spicy notes. Aftertaste is reasonably long. A good beer, even if it is very light. (0.2l draft at Porterhouse Temple Bar, Dublin.)

On tap at the Porterhouse Central. They call it an American-style lager, but I found it more tasty that that! Fine crispy fisnish.

Draft @ brewpub. Paler than straw, clear, with a small tight head. Lightly floral hop aroma with sweet pale malts in the background. Soft mouthfeel. A bit gassy. The sweet malts are balanced. This is very refreshing and like it in spite of how pale it is, and how very thin.

[Draught, Porterhouse, London] Served ice cold. Weak aroma. Very weak and thin flavour.
