330 ml bottle. Bright and clear golden colour, with a thin white foamy head. Plain enough aroma of malt and hops. Tastes quite malty but with a very hoppy bitterness. Heavy carbonation (more so than on draught), medium body, with a very dry and bitter finish. Decent pilsner, but a little dry to drink more than a bottle.

Medium gold with fluffy off-white head and lemony herbal hop aroma. Crisp carbonation with dry malt and grassy hops with a touch of metal in the finish but in general a good german style pils.

Definitely a pilsner, but so much more body and depth than any other pilsner I have had. Great toasted cereal flavours, with a very distinct bitterness, crisp and dry finish.

Pours a pale golden yellow, good frothy head, medium carbonation.
Smells of hops and barley, nice and floral with a hint of citrus.
Taste Toasted hops, spices and nutmeg.
This has a nice toasted flavor of medium length that sits well on the tongue and is well balanced. Also a nice mild bitter after taste.
A dam good beer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 CanIHave4Beers (2495) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - JUN 19, 2012
On draught at the Porterhouse
Pours a golden color with a frothy white head and good lace.
The aroma is floral and sweet smelling. The beer smells both clean and hoppy.
The flavor is clean and has a nice bit of floral hops. The beer is a tad sweet, particularly in the finish, the hops are nice but it seems to have that breakfast cereal thing a lot of Eastern European lagers get once they’ve reached the US. I imagine that if this made it stateside it would be a dead ringer for one of those beers.
Alas it is pleasant and enjoyable.
