Flight done at brewpub with wings. Good atmosphere. Tasting notes as follows: Hersbrucker pilsner: crisp, fizzy, refreshing plain porter: good bitterness at end. Smooth. Not much flavor in the middle. Tsb: bite at end, watery red-nitro: malt flavor, not favorite beer or style

A golden yellow coloured beer with a frothy white head. A light hoppy aroma, citrusy with a malty background. Dry mouthfeel. A tart, lively, pithy citrus fruit, hop taste, followed by a biscuity malt flavour which balances the taste into the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Porterhouse. Think clean, balanced, but boring. Solid but really has nothing great going for it and you wouldn’t bother having a second time

Pours gold, white head. Nose is graham cracker, very fresh spicy noble coming through, straw. Flavour is a bit on the sweet end for the style, some lemon and earth. I thought this was great! Felt very fresh though I doubt it was recently brewed. It may be because it was creamier than average. Regardless, I should drink more pilsners, there’s something to be said for simplicity.

The head is robust, the body golden, it smells hoppy, sweet, malty, pilsener malty. The taste is hoppy, a bit bitter, aromatic, ok for a Pils. 11/10/10/10/-/10
